  1. Right there with you...
  2. Heck, I'd have just kicked footballs through uprights...the league minimum is amazing! I had a good leg for soccer. Played fullback and could drill it long distance. If only...
  3. Getting cherry-picked is a sign of a good organization. The really good ones keep at it and continually get cherry picked. Keep it up Pace!
  4. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/chalk-tal...cc-2f344c226106 The Bears assigned numbers to their rookies on Thursday and first-round pick Leonard Floyd was given No. 94. Here are the numbers the other draft picks were given: Guard Cody Whitehair (65), defensive end Jonathan Bullard (69), linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski (44), safety Deon Bush (26), cornerback Deiondre' Hall (32d), running back Jordan Howard (24o), safety DeAndre Houston-Carson (36) and receiver Daniel Braverman (83). From what I understand, Floyd’s No. 94 is pretty much set in stone. But the other rookies could change their numbers after the 53-man roster is set the week leading into the regular-season opener.
  5. Aaron Leming ‏@AaronLemingNFL 13m13 minutes ago 4th rounder CB Deiondre' Hall's rookie deal: 4 years/ $2,850,891. $511K signing bonus. Cap hits of $578K, $678K, $758K, & $848K.
  6. Seems unfortunate... I always thought Stein was the only shining star in the management area. Well, hopefully the new guy can to a good job.
  7. I just haven't seen anything on PFT or other sources about that...
  8. I doubt it. With the whole concussion thing, the league won't un-soften anything at this point now that they've crossed the river.
  9. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/...-on-his-nerves/ Bears’ Lamarr Houston says Aaron Rodgers’ championship belt gets on his nerves Posted by Michael David Smith on May 3, 2016, 5:03 PM EDT rodgersbelt Getty Images Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston is spicing up the offseason with a little trash talk aimed at Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Asked about Rodgers on ESPN today, Houston acknowledged he’s a good player but said he doesn’t like him as a person and especially doesn’t like his attitude, exemplified by his trademark celebration of pretending to put a championship belt around his waist. “He’s a little arrogant for me. He’s a little too arrogant,” Houston said. “He’s a cheesehead. I’m a Bear. He’s a cheesehead. But I have a lot of respect for his game, I will say that. He’s a great quarterback. As a player, I have a lot of respect for him but the whole championship belt thing kind of gets on my nerves.” Houston might not be the best one to talk about the way other players celebrate, considering that he once suffered a season-ending knee injury while celebrating a sack late in the fourth quarter of a blowout loss. But Houston has taken shots at Rodgers before, most notably after the Bears beat the Packers on Thanksgiving, when Houston sacked Rodgers during the game and said afterward, “I really don’t like that guy.” Rodgers may have just a little more motivation to unleash the championship belt when the Bears meet the Packers next, on October 20.
  10. Did not know that... I'd like to pass on him then.
  11. What was Culliver's issue, I don't recall?
  12. Maybe a decent signing? Injury troubles and aging...but a vet presence.
  13. Pace has virtually completely re-built both lines in 2 seasons.
  14. The health concerns are the big flag...
  15. Just 3. We don't have the #8...I think that one was traded when we moved up to grab Floyd.
  16. Yeah, we got the 4th. So we now have 3 picks in the 4th
  17. Hard to argue against that logic...
  18. David Kaplan asked a number of softball questions as one would expect, but Loyd really impressed me from a PR standpoint. He interviewed extremely well and was very humble. He comes off as a genuinely respectful young man. He wants to bulk up to 255 and contribute in any way possible. He seems to just want to play football and help the team win. I liked what I saw. Welcome to the Bears Mr. Floyd! Now, go kick some ass!
  19. I'm a blithering idiot regarding college players, well and other things as well... But, I'll try... 1. Dan Vitale - FB - blocking issues, but could be a big TE threat 2. Jared Goff QB - When the guy played anyone good, he played poorly. He's just a mad bomber. Could be the big bust. 3. Vitale - see above 4. Jaylon Smith? too much concern over his injury, but someone's bound to reach and grab him 5. Whoever Dallas takes! 6. William Fuller ND WR - Alshon issues? 7. Fuller 8. Bosa, but he won't be available..realistically, Jack. I just love me soem LB when it comes to the Bears 9. Lawson
  20. He could also just be pleasing the player by letting him see what the market will offer and then match...
