  1. Ha! I would have if the season were in full swing...but then again, I'd never schedule my wedding or honeymoon to interfere with the season! (Bye week would be a possibility though...)
  2. Thanks! Well, I already moved to Cali way before, so I'm hoping I can bypass the jinx!
  3. Thanks Chile! That would be a lovely gift indeed!
  4. I think you're being harsh... It's an odd situation. You ask how do you pay a return guy? Agreed, I don't know. But this is not your average return guy! He is an the verge of being a Hall of Famer...on returns alone! To me, that means he should be paid. We all question what he'll bring as a WR, but I suggest we pay him like he's a HoF'er returner. However, I completely understand your take. In fact, I really can't argue agasint it much. I just have been clamorring for him to be paid, and I think hedeserves it. I don't like holdouts...and I'm not happy. But I fully understand his plight as well.
  5. Agreed. I cannot argue against it. Granted, other than the school of thought of "You're under contract, play!" But we all know the realities of pro psorts to be different. I'd have liked to seen some more movement...but I think Hester is well within his rights to ask for more loot. Just put lots of incentives in... TD's, catches, vs drops...something to make him earn the loot since we have too many unknowns w/ him as a WR... But overall, this guy needs to be paid.
  6. I just love reading this!
  7. Thanks for the well wishes!
  8. Much thanks! Maybe when I get back from my honeymoon (from 7/26-8/4), Hester will have a new contract!
  9. Yeah...just this Saturday. It was quite the whirlwind few days! Thank you!
  10. Wow! What a weekend and few days! I get married and find out Urlacher's signed and Williams is signed! Now on to Hester!
  11. I agree on Orton. There's too much we don't know yet...and his pocket presence and record are too good to chuck out the door without seeing more first. I personally see no harm in bringing Simms in. He could end up being a solid QB after his injury. If not, it's not a lot of loot spent hoping and praying. I'm really not up on Leftwich...for a cheap price, I see no harm as a 3rd. But overall, I'm just not thinking there's much upside. I just do not want to see Favre in a Bears uni...he needs to be the spokeman for Vicodin now that he's pining for work.
  12. I'm OK with that too...we need to get someting decent for him though. He's young with upside still. But at least he doesn't jolly stomp nerds at Denny's like RIcky Jr...
  13. Can an Admin post in the top "sticky" area, the breakdown of user status...? With the needed posts to get to each level? ie. Camp Invitee Special Teamer etc Thanks!
  14. Yep... Maybe he flips it... 43.
  15. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/07/15/...jones/#comments DGB says: July 15th, 2008 at 2:30 pm As a Lions fan this only assures me that KJ will get fully healthy, come back stronger than ever, and royally stick it to Detroit. Good times to comeā€¦ ugh.
  16. Good deal! Anyone know what number he'll take? I could have sworn her wore 34 in Detroit...and we all know that on'es taken! I'd also be curious if based on that #, is he a fan of Walter? I eagerly await the news conference...
  17. It certianly would appear so at this point. I'm all for it. Let it ride!
  18. Healthy enough to miss tackles and be out of position... His table awaits him at Denny's...
  19. You need to hit your re-set button on your PS3!
  20. With Pitt, he'd also have more QB, OL, and WR stability...and a team that generally makes the playoffs every season. We, as a franchise, need to get in the same position as PIT...but, with us, he could legitimately start.
