  1. My gut tells me no on Norman. Pace doesn't like to be the first out the gate & he'll be in his 30's in a few years. However, if the Jets need to move up to 11...I can see Pace taking Wilkerson. He's a real disruptor. I wouldn't think we've got the cap to sign both.
  2. Damn! A lot of us are all over this!

  4. Didn't say I wanted him...just that it's possible he could fall to us. And there have been numerous people (not necessarily on this site) that would like it. I do think more wheelin' and dealin' will happen on or before draft day. And that something good is bound to fall to us...
  5. Don't look at Vegas as unfortunate! (...at least before the gamblin' losses rack up!) Good luck!
  6. My calculations show the following: 1. Edge 88 2. S & CB 65 4. OT 61 5. DT 60 6. QB 16 7. RB 5
  7. Interesting. FYI - I just noticed TE wasn't an option...
  8. Everything is just so fluid. So much depends on what transpires before we pick. Given the trust I have in the current GM and HC, I honestly won't disparage any of the 5 round picks immediately. (Maybe except punter or kicker!) We literally could use a young warm body in every slot. Some more than others... I just see the D as the go to spot for this year's draft. Get a stud edge rusher and everyone's job behind him is easier. Then, shore up the youth movement in the secondary. But, by all means, if a well graded OL is there...or RB, or QB...whatever the slot...go for it. I bummed I will miss day one...but I'll follow on my iphone. I'm going to see Iggy Pop with Josh Homme and a number of back-up bandmates from Queens of the Stone Age at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. So, if I'm going to miss a day one draft show...it's a good excuse!
  9. I went Edge rusher, CB, S. I think they are big needs. While I'd love more OL or a DT...I feel we are pretty solid there with good and young players.
  10. We can then hope his pet panther doesn't eat him... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/...one-more-thing/ Robert Nkemdiche wants a pet panther because what’s one more thing Posted by Darin Gantt on April 18, 2016, 10:38 AM EDT NEW YORK - MAY 17: A panther and the animal's handler at the CW Network Upfront at Madison Square Garden on May 17, 2006 in New York City. (Photo by Evan Agostini/Getty Images) Getty Images As it turns out, Robert Nkemdiche has more to explain to teams besides, you know, that whole defenestration thing. The Ole Miss defensive tackle, who has already fallen out a fourth floor hotel window, lived and been charged with possession of marijuana because “no one wanted to take the fall” now wants to add another curious line to his resume. He wants to buy a panther. Not the Carolina kind, the jungle cat, which can, of course, eat people. In an extensive profile of one of the draft’s biggest conundrums, ESPN’s Seth Wickersham suggested to Nkemdiche that perhaps that’s a little crazy. “No, it’s not. They’re like cats,” Nkemdiche said. “If someone comes over and is scared, I’ll put the panther away.” Some NFL teams are scared of Nkemdiche, who can scare opposing offenses as well. He’s an extremely talented interior lineman, who has impressed with his athleticism. But he comes with plenty of questions, from the role of his brother in his life to what led to falling out the window (he said he was merely drunk, as if that makes hurtling through double-paned glass less nutty). The profile paints a picture of Nkemdiche as an open-minded seeker of wisdom, or the kind of loose screw which process-obsessed NFL types try to avoid. It mentions that one team’s scout report said “He thinks he’s a philosopher,” and that wasn’t construed as a positive. He can clearly play at the pro level, but teams are going to have to know they’re taking on a unique individual, and perhaps the zoo he’s bringing with him.
  11. Indeed it is! I can't wait to see Kevin White rock for the Bears this season!
