  1. Personally, I think you're embelishing his comments quite a bit. I really iwsh that was what he was intending to say...I just don't think that's the case.
  2. Pix, I'm going to reluctantly pass. I'd prefer more of a veteran at this point. Had we not signed Rex, I'd be 100% for it...
  3. THanks for posting! Glad to hear Kyle is getting some respect from his teammates.
  4. Agreed... We can go to the second stringer...
  5. Please don't do that to Robbie! That is frightening!
  6. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...1,5516554.story Extra points Lance Briggs and Charles Tillman were excused from the last day of mini-camp Sunday. Tillman was attending to a family matter. Briggs flew to Arizona to attend the funeral of college teammate Young Thompson, who died last week, four days after his 28th birthday. Jamar Williams took Briggs' spot with the first team, and Corey Graham filled in for Tillman.... Dusty Dvoracek (hand) was held out for the third straight day, and Tommie Harris (knee) was limited. … Punter Glenn Pakulak was released after a poor showing Saturday. … The Bears' rookies will visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, on Friday, with Bears great Gale Sayers as their tour guide.
  7. Agreed. So far, so good. I'll give mgmt the benefit of the doubt and think that all will be signed, sealed and delivered by camp's start.
  8. I think Joakim Noah's already been spotted on the practice field!
  9. I am not. There's too much baggage with him and other FA's out ther that are more worth looking into. And at this point, we have more than enough RB...albiet unproven. But given the limitation of Henry, I'd rather just see what we have in thsi quasi-rebuilding season anyway.
  10. Interesting... Sopme of the more intruiging #'s are" 1. Benson and Forte's 80's. It basically says Forte is better since his experience is virtually zero as a rookie. 2. Hester's 82 ar WR is promising... 3. LG Can't be Metcalf... I imagine between LT and LG it'll be Williams and St. Clair. I also think they have St. Clair rated too low. I think he's a solid 75+. 4. I think they have the D pretty spot on. Oddly enough, I think Madden does do a pretty good job of predicting...
  11. I live in LA, and I've been sick of it, for what seems like a decade. There is no comparision...other than, they both play basketball for a loving, have 2 arms, 2 legs, wear shorts to work and were coached by Phil Jackson. Jordon is better than Kobe. 'Nuff said.
  12. I freakin' love Hester...
  13. Good read... I really think he's the unsung hero of our team... I consider him a poor man's Ronnie Lott. If he'd have been healthy all of his career, I'm convinced he could be a HoF candidate.
  14. I guess I didn't go too far out on a limb!
  15. Honestly speaking, I think it's a total crap shoot. I could see any of the 4 teams taking the division. However, something tells me that it just won't be Detroit.
  16. I'm really not sure...but my gut is telling me Love. What's your preference?
  17. Good deal! I heard Tommie was, but had no info on Devin.
  18. Reading about the excessive weight gain (a whopping 4 pounds) Hester put on...does that mean he's in camp?
  19. All else aside, I'm just glad he's there! I'd like to see the team give him a little more love than the initial extention...but not much more. Maybe a little more up front money. But I want nothing to stand in the way of re-upping Hester!
