  2. Good point balta... ...and his last name just reeks of "Bear"!
  3. Agreed. I think I used the term, re-build, but it really is a building year. (Can you re-build an O if you never had one?) Sorry...had to throw that out there. I see us 8-8... I think the D and Hester keeps us close, but the O will disappoint. However, we we draft Mendenahall, it'll be 16-0.
  4. RUmor has it we play GB on a MNF in Dec. No word on where exactly or when. PFT made mention of it...
  5. Or if our 1st and 2nd down's were putrid...
  6. Cincy got gypped... Their GM should be fired.
  7. I thihk you're voting too tricky... I think when prohet said , show would you rank them in a later post...I think that's what he meant. Of the group listed, who do you have ranked highest.... For me it is Ryan as well.
  8. I could have sworn he had some decent returns in the pre-season last year as well...
  9. I've got to think fixing any of them would be a pain! I think the key is to try to find one that won't need fixing! Not sure which that is though. I do know all my old Sony's have kicked butt, but my PS2's have died a plenty...
  10. Oh, I completely agree! I don't balk at the plan. Seems good to me. I just question who Angelo has assembled to see the plan through. Lovie gained a lot fo good will his first few years, and lost a bit last season. This season is a bit of a make or break from him to me. Not that I think he'll be fired for a bad season, but that he will officially be on watch the following season. I presonally would pull the plug on a bad season...but like yourself, I even question his ability with the D. In a nitshell, I too have to see it to believe it. History is working agasint us.
  11. bradjock, I'm not 100% on Magnavox. They seem to be middle of the road. They are cheaper apparently...but Samsung seems better reviewed. Heck, I'm not a big fan of Wal-Mart, but I figure the folks that work in the store live in the good ol' US, and need to pay for their Urlacher jersey's too! I hear Sam's Club actually has some super deals going on... FYI - Abuddy of mine that's a reall techie, swears by the Sony Bravia. It's more expensive by $500 or more, but he swears the picture quality and bells & whistles are worth it. However, I think the best bang for the buck is Samsung. It's like being there! ...with cheaper beer!
  12. It was classic! I would give a damn. I'm sure lots of shenenigans go on... But, the manner and fashion in which the Pat's one played out was far different than the likes of anything we've seen before. I would like to be able to talk my team up as one of the best of all time without having the lingering issue of cheating be at the forefront of everyone else's mind. Like the Giants fans are with Bonds, etc...fans of their own teams will always be more forgiving. But I'm an odd person I suppose. I guess my father taught me cheating to get there isn't a good thing in the long run. It feels sour. I love Papa Bears, but not everything he did was great. He treated some great players very badly, was very cheap, did have some bouts of questionable tactics. Some of it is just amuzing, like th soap. That nothing compared to taping, etc... It was also in an ear that these kinds of rules weren't spelled out. There's something charming about the beginnings of a sport, but once it's a big business like the NFL is now, it's different. No need to call you an ass at all! That's just your take! I'd prefer we'd have won 3 Super Bowls by kicking ass, and not cheating. But to answer your question, I would have rather we not won a thing, then to have won by cheating. Cartman would have kicked me out of class!
  13. I hate to see it, but we're not that good anyway... We have holes at virtually every spot on offense except TE. I think we could compete next year with Ryan on the bench satching Rex and taking notes on what NOT to do. I still want to see OL taken within the next 2 rounds to solidify that spot. But I really think this is a rebuilding year for us. I'm not sure the coaches think that. I do not trade Urlacher, he's under contract for too many years at a decent price at this point. If he plays chicken with the team, we can wait it out. He will have to retire then if he won't play for us. Tommie, I could see possibly trading, but I personally would still do what I can to keep him. He's pretty young.
  14. I have no problem going for him. We need to draft at that position, and he is the top proespect at QB. I think it could well be a potential bargain. I would take him over Mendenhall. We need a franchise QB more than any pro football team on this green earth... Ryan could be it.
  15. breletich, Yopu beat me to asking about the rule!
  16. Good to see you here Grouchy! But...where's the picture of the day!?!?!?!
  17. I personally like Wolfe...in particular his attitude and work ethic. I think given the right chance, and a staff that know how to utilize him, he could be a good contributor. I'd like to see him being used more wisely than run up the middle on our own GL on 3rd down... That may be asking a lot from our staff.
  18. I think you are right...
  19. I believe youa re correct...
  20. Good pick...considering what was taken before and what was available.
  21. Does anyone have a Wii? I know I'm pulling the trigger on a PS3...but the wife wants a Wii (which I'll gladly get her...) but I was wondering if anyone had one and what they thought of it.
  22. I know...you can probalby set your watch to it!
  23. I don't think it's a worry, from the latest reports, he isn't in the prison league.
