  1. Just when I thought King couldn't be more of an idiot... I guess I was wrong! What a putz!
  2. It'll probably be Baker OT from USC. Seems like a sure bet. The kid from Boise looks good too...but SC is virtually pro football and I think counts for a lot. I would personally like to see Mendenhall for RB, but it won't happen. AR
  3. I hear ya. I was, and still am high on Brennan. He had a bad game, and doesn't play on a great team. However, I think he's NFL material and can be had in the 2nd!
  4. the guys that would have the biggest impact would probably be McFadden or Laurinaitis. Both are NFL ready right now.
  5. Yeah...I was thinking version of the 46 incorporated that. Thanks for the details...
  6. You guys are cracking me up! I'd be ready to say "just let it go!", but I'm becoming far too entertained!
  7. Dang, my kool-aid just spilled! I've really grown to despise Bustson...
  8. No flaming is deserved at all! Although I just don't see it. Briggs will want to test the market in my opinion. But if it goes down...I take McFadden.
  9. I'll give you Wade and Gage as junk...but Harris did quite a decent job. He wasn't great, but not as bad as the 2 WR's. Which could also be due to the Bears' overall historic ineptness at offense.
  10. 1. I'm with you! Even though the Trib's Haugh is not... Turner must go. 2. OK...but I'd still like to hold onto Brown. He has heart. Something sorely lacking in a lot of other Bears... And I would entertain a trade fo Kruetz. Not sure I'd do it, but I'd see what's out there in exchange. 3. No issues there...we need a changing of the guard. I'd hold onto Clark as I don't think we'd get much. 4. Dang, we get Ocho Cinco and I'm happy. I like your Hester grooming ideas... 5 Agreed...
  11. If you entertain his thoughts...Garza could be moved to center. I'm not necessarily saying I'm in agreement, but I think that would be the replacement barring a free agent pull.
  12. 1. Agreed 2. Agreed 3. Disagree...I think Brown gives us some solid depth at DE. Anderson is too streaky. 4. AGREED! The turnstile OL guys need to go! ...hold onto Davis. We may need the WR depth. And as you mention, good ST player... 5. Ooh tough. OK, I'll give you it. I'm torn, but he seems to have too many snap issues. 6. 1/2 and 1/2. I think we should let Berrian go as I think he'll ask for too much loot. I think we can hold onto Moose if he's willing to re-srtucture a bit. If not, I have no problem letting him go. But if we let him go, I think we need to find a vet like Patten. I'd like to keep both Bradley and Davis. 7. Agreed. I'd like to keep Berrian, but if he's too pricey, goodbye. Same with Turner. He's a bit unproven to bet the farm. At a good price, I'm all for it. 8. Maybe. If we get extra picks, I'm all for drating more OL. But I want a new QB, RB, and LM on the team. 9. Sounds good to me. Qb need to be drafted if we don't land McNabb. The guys we have are putrid. I'm all for keeping Rex, but only to play the year while our newly drafted QB learns from the sidelines. Rex isn't the future. He's a stop gap.
  13. I hear ya! I guess I'm going for the "sexy" pick as O line usually isn't! Even though we've had issues drafting QB's and RB's...it's no reason to give up on it! We're in dire need! I tink we can get OL help in free agency as you mention.
  14. Glad to have you here! I hope we don't bash every player! But some defeinitley deserve it! I think to get McFadden, we'd have to trade up. Not that I'm opposed to it!
  15. O line seems to be the popular choice...McFadden probably becomes a Pat.
  16. Yep. Mostly in Free Agency. Or in the 3rd or 4th. I think we can find good replacements in FA... I have no problem drafting OL high though.
  17. Although I really want Laurinaitis from Ohio St as a LB, I somehow think he'll be gone with the Pat's taking him with SF's pick. So with that, I'm going for Rashard Mendenhall. I may be drinking a little Illinois kool-aid, but I like the guy's running style and attitude. I think he could become a very solid back. But, I will take Laurinaitis if availalbe! (gotta love those Lithuanian linebackers! ...like Butkus!) Sorry, I couldn't resist the comment. ...and I hope Brennan's available in the 2nd. ...then Jordy Nelson in the 3rd.
  18. Please add your actual pick's name if you feel so inclined. It looks like we may have a top 10 pick...or at least top 15.
  19. Chile, If my un-technical brain can do it, you'll knock it out of the park!
  20. I follow, but I'm hard pressed to pass up what could be a franchise QB. Just because we've failed on the last couple, doesn't mean we should stop trying. I really don't think much of what we'd draft would be an immediate help anyway. But I agree with youoverall assessment. 2OL, S, WR, DT, RB, QB. However I think our orders may differ. I also think we could find at least one of the OL in FA, as well as a safety. I see DT as something we'd try in a later round. What I'd like to see would be: 1. QB 2. OL 3. WR 4. RB 5. OL 6. DT 7. S
  21. Now I feel like you've created a monster!
