  1. ...and please, I cannot stress this enough, I really hope Fuller flips the switch.
  2. I don't like Peter Carroll. So, F Seattle. We will lose handily, but I hope we F em up in some small but very legal way along the way.
  3. ha! Honestly, there's not much to defend on this team right now other than Kyle Long and Matt Forte!
  4. The huge game was Green Bay...and we failed that one.
  5. What do we do w/ Alshon? Pay him? Tag him?
  6. You mean against this particular Seahawks team? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Seattle_Seahawks_season The 2010 Seattle Seahawks season was the 35th season for the team in the National Football League. Jim Mora was fired on January 8, 2010,[1] leading the Seahawks to come to an agreement with Pete Carroll, instating him as head coach the following day. This marked the 9th season that the Seahawks would be playing their home games at Qwest Field. The team exceeded their win total from 2009 and won the NFC West with a 7–9 record. They became the first team in a full season to finish with a sub-.500 record and make the playoffs, a berth which was by virtue of winning the division. The 2010 Seahawks also became the first sub-.500 team to win a playoff game with their home win against the 11–5 New Orleans Saints, but would have their season ended by the 2nd-seed Chicago Bears in the divisional round. The 2010 Seahawks currently have the lowest win percentage of any team to ever make the playoffs. Statistics website Football Outsiders calculated that the 2010 Seahawks were only the second-worst team (after the 2004 Rams) that they'd ever rated to qualify for the playoffs.[2
  7. Agreed. If we can't get a franchise QB, get volume!
  8. Sure, a case can be made that it's everyone else's fault under the sun but Jay's. I'm just not buying it again. I bought for 5+ years. I'm selling now. I don't care about hypothetical. I care about what is going to happen from here on out. And I don't see us going the distance w/ Jay. The rose tint has worn off that pair of sunglasses. I want a new and better pair of shades.
  9. The cases have been spelled out on both sides of the fence. Every year, it was, if he only had a better OC. If he only had a better line. If the D wasn't awful. If the WR's weren't garbage. It seems like he was given every tool in the chest, and then at that point, the D started to fall apart. Hey, I get it. You fall on the side supporting that it's been always something else other than Jay. I too was there. After so many years, I just simply can't hold that opinion any more. Let's not forget...our overall success and failure isn't pinned to 1 guy. Our failures and successes are from the team and management. However, the biggest spotlight is always on the QB, and he and he alone accounts for a huge chunk of the overall success/failure. It's the same w/ every team in the NFL. We have won and lost as a team. We aren't going to the SB for a while. We have way too many holes. So even if most are fixed...by then, odds are Jay won't still be with us. I am ready to re-load the QB spot with a legit draft pick if our GM sees that the prospect is worthy of the pick. I don't want Jay gone. I'm not pining for Pickles or Fails. I'd rather have Jay out there. But, that doesn't mean I think he's all that good. He's just better than the others. I again, want better than Cutler.
  10. I'm going by what I've seen. Obviously anything can happen. But, from what I've tried to objectively see over the years with Jay under center is a guy prone to the big mistake. For whatever reason. Maybe his OC was bad. Maybe the wrong play was called. Maybe he was running for his life due to bad OL play. Maybe the wrong route was run. Maybe the D fails to stop anyone making the job tougher. Maybe the WR gave up on the ball. Maybe the D just had a lucky guess. Or maybe, the one common thread is it's him... I've given the guy all the support in the world. I'm just done thinking something different will happen from what normally happens. And I think keeping him for this and next year is integral assuming we get an eventual QB replacement. If Jay wins us a Super Bowl (let alone just beating Green Bay one time in what feels like 20 years of losing to them beside the fluky McCown game...), please feel free to remind me. I'd rather be wrong. But, I don't think I am. The parade of excuses why Jay can't cut it and it's not really his fault is almost longer than the list of QBs that played before him. He's the best we've had since then. But it's not good enough. I want better.
  11. Good D and Jay (assuming WR's are what we hope they will be)...will win games. just not THE BIG game.
  12. I'm not saying disregard D. It's just if you have a QB rated as a franchise guy, you take him above all else. No single defensive player can impact the entire game as the QB... You need it all. The lines, a running game, QB, etc... You simply need to have it all. That's why it's tough to win it all. It ain't easy. I'll simply take a top tier QB over a top tier defensive player any day of the week. The GM simply must decide whether a QB is "it" or not. It appears we will finally be in position to try and get one.

  14. Houston isn't going to the SB w/ Watt. But Rodgers virtually wills GB into the playoffs every year. When picking that high, unless you are simply not sold on the QB...you draft the QB. If Goff has "it", we need to get him. We draft pass rusher later or the next year while Goff sits and Cutler goes one more year at it.
  15. Agreed. Tebow is the opposite of Cutler. No skills, but lots of mojo. Cutler is all skills and no mojo. Claussen is no skills and no mojo...
  16. Anyone have any insight on Goff? he seems the best fit if we go Franchise w/ our pick...
  17. Not quite. But the verdict is still out on Kevin White, Goldman, Amos, etc...
  18. If Cousins keeps playing smart and Matt Jones pounds it, Washington could be decent. SF will confound us. Winston could be much better by the time we play Tampa. With us, there are simply no guarantees.
