  1. I don't want vick on the team because he's not an nfl quarterback & thats the only reason. The fact he was involved in dogfighting won't sway a single team, Leonard Little killed someone & had a career
  2. according to a Maryland fan friend of mine, he'll need some work in the pro's he can only run a couple routes

No way do I want to go into the season without a Vet QB on the roster. Hell a few years backwe were all up in arms when Lovie did do it.

  6. Booker is tied with Curtis Conway for third in Bears history with 329 receptions, trailing only Walter Payton (492) and Johnny Morris (356). http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=5589 The Bears also released linebacker Gilbert Gardner and waived linebacker Marcus Riley. Gardner appeared in the season finale in Houston after being acquired Dec. 12 after playing in 42 games with the Colts (2004-06), Titans (2007) and Lions (2008). Riley spent the last three weeks of the season on the Bears practice squad after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Green Bay and spending the preseason with the Rams.
  7. I can't compare to the old Soldier Field but have to say I loved the new when I was there
  8. it's hitting everywhere. A soccer team in England is selling kids season tickets(30+ games) for 19 pounds sterling
  9. He's not off the market just means they have more time to work on a trade
  10. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/2009/0...-diner-news-93/ CHICAGO BEARS — At some point, the Bears will have to address their quarterback situation. There were times last season when Kyle Orton appeared to have a good handle on things, but after sustaining an ankle injury, he was not the same productive player he was earlier in the year. The Bears need a marquee player on offense, someone they can build around and make all the other pieces fit. They need someone they do not have to manage but who can run a complete offense. The need is there, but I doubt the Bears will be serious players. They have the 18th pick in the first round, but they hate to part with picks.
  11. Think I'd prefer us to draft a real FB rather than try make AP one
  12. AP @ FB didn't we do that with Salaam & harris can't recall how it worked out
  13. Friend in school was a football fan & I picked it up off him Bears ?? Just lucky I guess
  14. If thats the rule fair enough I didn't know it was & why? I have NEVER seen that called never & I've seen people run into holders before The roughing the passer was horrible
  15. Thought the running into the holder call was pure bullshit, the rest well I've seen less called so not buying bias. A total DISGRACE that the fmbl wasn't reviewed

  19. Dan Rooney Front Runner For Irish Ambassadorship Thursday, January 29, 2009 – updated: 6:24 pm EST January 29, 2009 PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers owner Dan Rooney is reportedly on the short list to be named the next ambassador to Ireland. The Rooney family roots are in Newry, Northern Ireland and he visits the emerald isle frequently. Rooney was an early supporter of President Obama and campaigned for him and last week gave him the game ball from the AFC championship game. Democratic Congressman Mike Doyle said he thinks Rooney is a great choice to be ambassador to Ireland. “I can't think of a finer ambassador for the United states to Ireland than Dan Rooney. The work they've done with the Ireland Institute the Rooney’s have been involved with work in peace and reconciliation,” Doyle said. According to the Irish Times, the appointment is expected to be announced around St. Patrick’s Day, Copyright 2009 by WPXI.com. All rights reserved. 2009

he was on honeymoon got bit by a spider just before a FA try-out with us & he was terrible when he came in. Wouldn't have mattered at that stage he hadn't(I believe) gone near the AFL or NFLE & as a result wasn't the same QB he is today
