The 4th was traded for Paea. I dont like the pick either...I was hoping for Marcus Cannon, but lets not associate the 4th with the third round pick.

Marcus Cannon sounds good to me. Everything except sending Chris Williams to T. Williams makes Omiyale look solid. I'd send Williams away for any draft pick I could get at this point.

Partially kidding...I think. How about Pat Fitzgerald?

Id rather move Tommie Harris and bring Boone back. Dont get me wrong. Manumaleuna can go too. But Id like to dump Tommie and his 10 mil this season before there is a cap.

IIRC Omiyale was a 5th round pick. In my mind I blame Matt Lepsis and the Broncos. They didnt need a LT til Lepsis retired just before the draft and put them in line to get Clady and leave us with Williams.

I wonder if we could get a prospect (street FA or low draft pick) for Dez Clark. Seems he is on the outs due to lack of ST ability. Another body to give Tice to groom.

Chris Williams. Just breaking. LT is Omiyale LG is Williams Webb stays at RT. Suddenly we are alot younger overall on the line. Now if Williams can handle being a decent G...we may not be as bad off as things felt a couple weeks back.

Dont forget that NE got him for a 4th a few years back. Now they sell the older product for a 3rd. Unreal.

You could probably go up a round on Tillman to the right team with playoff aspirations and secondary concerns. Both the Patriots and Vikings could be interested in him.

But that 9 Million unpaid to Urlacher could be used to justify the financials of firing Lovie...paying his remaining salary....and hiring another coach. (maybe a good one this time) In this uncapped year its a great time to dump players for money purposes. Signing bonuses go against this year (no cap)...and the unspent money can be used for other things. Same for Tommie Harris' 10 Million.

Im working another guy right now that would take it to 9...and to add to the fun he would draft at my house with one of the other guys...which will be as close to a real live draft as Ive been able to get.

Looks like that guy is balking. We can probably find enough to make it 8. Can we change draft time to 1pm PST instead of 12pm PST? I could use the buffer time on Sunday.
