  1. yup. Lets see Tyler Bagent's best impression of Dan Marino against this pressure defense. Just to see if there is a contrast.
  2. The vikings seem to be taking away all the short and middle routes, challenging us to beat them deep. On that last play Mooney was streaking, Fields looked at him, but didnt pull the trigger.
  3. YES, and KNOWING that Minnesota is blitz heavy, and where are the plays to beat blitz? Our coaches are awful.
  4. Absolutely Getsy has a big part of it. They KNEW they would see a lot of blitzes, and seem to have very few tactical answers to it in the gameplan.
  5. interesting, Ive seen it the other way today. On that play, I totally agree, we needed a blitz adjustment to a fast throw.
  6. right. I do think Fields has played faster today, either the play call there was wrong, or someone needed to audible out of it. There was no tactical reaction to an obvious blitz front.
  7. for sure, but our best defensive lineman in 2024 isnt even on the team yet.
  8. I dunno, Fields looks to have a faster internal clock this game than any other in his career...
  9. I want to see more Foreman. I thought he would start over Herbert before the season started. Especially in the red zone.
  10. Left a TD to Moore on the field there, but this game is JUST what we need.
  11. Fields with good protection, still has a quick decisive release to Mooney. Way to go.
  12. the lack of pass rush is expected, but your point about coverage when only two receivers are in the route is very well taken. I think maybe Eberflus sucks.
  13. Very physical game today - just the test the Bears need after all the fluffery the last couple of weeks.
  14. I agree. Maybe this game will help to speed Fields' clock up a bit.
  15. man, I sure woulda given the ball to Foreman there in the red zone. Does the staff think he has a fumbling issue? Bad pass protection?
  16. It's a street fight. This will be an excellent test for the offense. Foreman seems ready. Who else is? Scott dropped that pass. People have got to show up. Play with emotion or be exposed. It's a good test for coaching too. How much fight does this team have?
  17. The QB draw off of the quads left formation was the only successful play so far. In the first series, JF didn't even have time to throw an incomplete pass. The first drive was as bad as Justin's first game against thew Browns with 9 sacks. Let's hope it gets better.
  18. He may have been thought to be generational, but today he generated a turd LOL Seriously, he may end up to be excellent, but he has the same questions that Justin had - usually has too much protection, receivers wide open etc. I guess we have to watch a bunch more football
  19. If youre coaching a player up, then the distinction youre making is a good one. But from my point of view, its a combination of both, and I just want the ball out to the right guy faster. The ideal would be Dan Marino. Three steps and the ball is out. Fields has been improving in this area, but he still has to elevate a few more notches. I hate the ball tapping and the extra steps, but i want to see him making faster decisions too. All that has to get better. And has been. Let's hope the trend continues.
  20. yes. this is what Im waiting for, that quick release. Meanwhile football God and imminent Messiah Caleb Williams is having an awful day today full of multiple interceptions and a fumble. They've been blitzing him a lot so it'll be fun to see Justin's rhythm under the same kind of pressure right after seeing this one. Caleb has a half to go to undo it, but sheesh. Bird in the hand and all that, I think I'd like to see JF kick major non stop fast read ass and keep him. Come on Justin, keep it going.
