  1. No. With Trestman we gave up 50+ points to games in a row. Trestman didn't have a winning season. Trestman's offensive coordinator threw his QB under the bus. It's bad but it's not Trestman bad. Peace
  2. I could go with that. Peace
  3. I thought it was a 6th round pick that could be a 5th for Howard. Does anyone have the details? Peace
  4. He's not worth that. Let him go if that's the reality. Peace
  5. I've had tickets for 18 years. I don't have any plans to get rid of them. I enjoy going to games when they are at least competitive. Peace
  6. Agreed. I wouldn't mind working out a long term deal that pays him $5 to $6 million a year for 4 years but $13 million is ridiculous. Peace
  7. I believe the idea was a game manager like Alex Smith. He is still under contract for at least next year (with a $32 million dead cap # if cut) and I don't think he will be available. Game managers could be Case Keenum or another Teddy Bridgewater. I just checked and Philip Rivers is going to be a FA next year. He would probably be a long shot but, with this defense, he would have a shot at a Super Bowl. Another option would be signing Mariota to a short-term deal and seeing if he could be a reclamation project. Trubisky isn't going anywhere next year with a $9+ million cap # (all would be dead cap space if cut). Foles is in his first contract year with the Jags and would have a $33 million dead cap hit if cut/traded. He's not going anywhere at those #s. Peace
  8. Can't afford Foles and I would absolutely not trade Mack. Trubisky is going to be on the roster next year at $9 million. Like Alaska said, get a serviceable QB like Smith and roll the dice with the defense next year and the year after. Peace
  9. No question. Thanks. Peace
  10. Cool story. Good for his kid. Must be nice to inherit one of the top 5 quarterbacks of all time. It sure makes life easier. What position did you play? Peace
  11. I'd be willing to pay him around $5 million a year for a couple of years. He's not worth more than that at this time. Peace
  12. He's disappeared. I know the Bears exercised the 5th year option on him but, at this time, he's not playing anywhere close to that value ($13.2 million). My understanding is the Bears could simply cut him before the beginning of the league year and would not have to pay him. Is this correct? Peace
  13. I am an admin but haven't done any admin functions in years. I have no idea why it is happening. Peace
  14. I was at the game (3rd level north end zone) and watched Piniero warm up. He hit a couple from 55+ with no issues. Unfortunately, he saved his worst kick until the end of the game but I have no issue with Nagy choosing to kick at that time. The game was lost in the first half when we couldn't score a TD either time we were at the 4-yard line. The boos at halftime were embarrassing. Nagy has a lot of soul searching to do. Peace
  15. Once you bench him, your signaling it's over for him as our QB. We are not making the playoffs this year so you might as well give him the rest of the season to see if he can turn it around. Peace
  16. I agree on doubling up on QB. However, there is no way Jacksonville is going to be able to trade Foles this offseason as it will leave them with 33.5 million in dead cap space. Peace
  17. Play Trubisky the rest of the year. If he doesn't improve, then move on. Peace
  18. Let the year play out. Do not make any changes to staff in season. Peace
  19. No one is taking Burton and his salary. Peace
  20. The Pack used to do this to (Brunnell, Brooks, Hasselback, Flynn, etc). Peace
  21. I would definitely shut him down. His life is more valuable that football. He clearly needs to deal with his issues. Peace
  22. Just an observation that Club Dub wasn't a big deal to anyone when they were in the middle of a winning season. I really don't care what they do after games. The play on the field matters and this past Sunday reminded me of Dr. Death's last year. They need to fix this. Peace
  23. I get it. I'm just pointing out you are not getting the value you need from him. IR might be the best option as he is not a contributing member of the team at this time. Peace
  24. Hall was traded to the Eagles last year. Houston-Carson was a leading special teamer last year. Miller and Wims are in year 2. I think both have potential to be great. Peace
