  1. But he "managed" the game..
  2. Forte looks really good. Orton looks a little timid... Overall I think we are doing pretty good..
  3. That's where you went wrong again..
  4. Give them a first...lord knows we can't seem to pick anybody good in that round anyways..
  5. How does this Tackle sound.. Ciron Black. He's a junior but might come out early. "Tyler, Texas, native played a school-record 1,031 snaps and surrendered exactly one sack. He also recorded 74 knockdown blocks after logging 81 in 2006, his first year as a starter." "Instead of simply relying on the brute strength generated by his massive 6-foot-5, 325-pound frame, he excels because he’s as in tune with the offensive game plan as anybody on the team" "He’s out there every day working like he’s fighting for a job and that gives all the young guys somebody to watch,” Studrawa said. “Especially with the quarterbacks, they’re able to develop a calmness when they watch Ciron because they watch him and know their backside is going to be protected. They see his work ethic and that takes their minds off a lot of things they might have to worry about.” “Physically, he is as good a tackle as there is in the SEC, but that’s not what makes him so special,” LSU offensive line coach Greg Studrawa said. “He’s a really smart player and understands exactly what to do on each play. He works extremely hard to refine his technique and has gotten better every year, but the thing that makes him so unique is that he understands what the offense is trying to do and what every player has to do on every play. That comes from a drive to be as good as he can be.”
  6. What's sad is they are completely right. LOL!
  7. They should also add which guy will not win games for you. Let's face it if your "managing" our offense, your just another drone out there without the abilitiy to win the game. Sounds like everyone is relying on someone else to win the game for them..
  8. Your assuming I was talking about the QB when I posted that. I was refering to the whole dam team. And why would I want to bring in two more paper bags?
  9. 1. Pretty hard to hit the hot read with the TE and RB are blocking because you don't have time to squat, let alone complete a pass. 2. My mention to starting over was in regards to camp, as the team looked bad the first game. 3. The D does step up, if it wasn't for the field position they give the offense we wouldn't get any. 4. I happy the competition is over. (assuming that's what you called it) I sure it was hard for Lovie to choose between the two paper bags. 5. I would be absolutely amazed with Kyle played the entire year. I would be absolutely amazed if Rex had played the entire year also. Seriously the only difference between the two is that Rex has a bette ability to hit the deep man. And if we can routinely hit the deep man to keep the defense back we are in trouble again. It's just another year with different players, but the same scenerio.
  10. LOL! Yea Shane Mathews Jr. You know that QB from Missouri looks pretty good. And we should be drafting pretty high next year..
  11. The problem with this whole crap about needing someone to "just manage" , "Kyle won't hurt you" is just stupid. Honestly that crap really only applies if you have offensive weapons that can move the ball and score. (which we really don't) If the Oline sucks and you have a QB that specializes in dink and dunk passes, you are going to see a crap load of 3 and outs this year. Until he can prove (which I don't think he really has) that he can go long, teams are just gonna load the line kill you, and unless your line can hold up long enough to give him time to go deep in your crap again. The fact that the Bears had a competition between Orton and Grossman shows how sad things are. Yea "Kyle won't loose the game" and he also won't win it either. So who is gonna step up and win the games for us, if the Defense is on the field all day they won't be. At this point I really don't care about Rex or Kyle, I think we should have scrapped them both. Maybe he will prove me wrong, but I doubt it. Dink and Dunk and we are sunk!
  12. Well... good luck to Shane Mathews...er Kyle Orton then.
  13. That's what I see happening. Let's face it, neither one has really been impressive and would it make sense to have them backing each other up. At that point your wishing they both go down to stop the insanity..
  14. yea.. I really liked that batted down pass, the fumble, and the under thrown passes. LOL! Honestly he looked no different than last year. Forte looks like he runs nice, but by week 2 teams will realize that is all we got, and the box stuffing will comense. Hester was wide ass open and Orton throws a dunk pass to Forte. Guess he still needs work on his check downs. LOL!
  15. looks like we need a mulligan on this game...
  16. LOL! It's like trying to decide which paper bag is better. It's a sad state when this is your QB battle..
  17. If I was the packers I'd sit that dumb redneck on the bench and make him 3rd string.. He'd be dead to me.. We'll see how much he wants to play after a season on the bench..
  18. Sorry but once you make your business public you can't say squat if someone comments on them. And Harris is not throwing anyone under the bus on this yet..
  19. whoes that number 30 guy sitting next to urlacher?
  20. He had bad vision to start with.. don't blame the pepper spray! LOL!
  21. Sounds like Benson has some real comp this year..Look for him to fold like a taco...
