  1. i think he was talking about the WR position, not rec in general. He is right, our WR have not shown anything yet. they are getting better, but we will see what they can do with a legit QB.
  2. Hester is being used wrong...they need to goget some tape ofWes Welkerand use him that way. In the slot, Hester could excell. The problem is we do not have any other real good WR to put out there with him. Hopefully someone emerges this year
  3. losing those two would suck as Gordon and Rose make a pretty damn good back court that can shoot the hell out of the ball. You need Deng back next year imo. Boozer might be available for a replacement. I think some guy name King James might be had for the right price as well
  4. dont forget you guys will get Dang back next year to add to the team...he will greatly improve an already good team
  5. you homer...the Bulls are too young and that is why they lost game 7 to the veteran Boston Celtics. When they were up against the wall, they turned the ball over and made stupid fouls in the 4th qtr. The refs were horrible in this series but i am not quite sure that is was in favor of the Celtics...i guess it depends on what color glasses you are wearing.
  6. here are the folk i like that are stil there: WR: Murphy, Iglesias, Byrd S: Johnson, Clemons, Bruton G: Robinson, Johnson, Canfield CB: DJ Moore QB: Bomar
  7. i will be watching for 6 hours only to find out the Bears dont draft anyone...WTF i guess i will do the same on Sunday...i am quite sure we will draft someone sooner or later
  8. if we got those two guy then i would be very happy with this draft to that point. Still good players on the board.
  9. you are reaching lol take half of #6 and you get #3...Rick M
  10. has Fuerry signed with anyone yet? IMO he is a better fit in the slot with Hester and Bennett outside
  11. we need a bigger WR so we can move Hester to the slot ala Wes Welker. Screens and 5 yard crossing routes are ideal for Hester as he can do his thing is open spaces.
  12. enough about all that, the question is why dont you post pics with your posts anymore? They were the highlight of my day

    Hey NFO!

    your draft sucks...no McRib?
  14. wow great news...we finally have the QB that can do it all, make all the throws, an actual franchise guy. He will also be playing with a chip on his shoulder as he trys to give the big FU to Denver...he will have monster stats. So, what do we have to bitch about now? I think we are out of excuses now. It is time to restore some life back into Bears football. What a great day (and we signed Pace)
  15. ok, i am here for my weekly defense of the Pats... Weis is not failing; very far from it. He took over a terrible Irish team (i am a big ND fan) and now has them on the cusp of being a top 7 team. I think he is a great success at ND Crennel coached the Browns, on of the worst run franchises in recent memory. I dont think any coach past or present could have done well. Cant for the life of me understand why Brady Quinn is not starting. Mangenius also fell victim of poor front office management. They pinned their hopes of Bret Farve as their QB. Farve has been a poor QB for the last 3 years, so why the Jets brought him in is a mystery. Farve rubbed his teamates the wrong way and they did not perform. Unfortunately for Mangina, he goes to the Browns...not looking good for him.
  16. Denver will be happy to get rid of him, so i dont think the cost will be astonomical by any means. I would give them a first this year and a 2nd or a 3rd next year. They really have no leverage and will take what they can get...no way in hell do they wanthim back. The only problem is that teams with poor front offices like the Jets or Detroit will over spend to get him. If the Vikings get him, then that would be the last peice for them, the division would be over and we would be doomed imo
  17. Well obviously you dont like the Patriots, but Chicago would not know a well run organization if their life depended on it. But anyway, NE was 11-5, so to the statement about being a one year wonder and not even makeing the playoff is stupid. 11-5 should get you into the playoffs, it was just the way the division played out...but 11-5 is a damn good team. The other assistant coaches who you mentioned with NE are a stretch as well. Weis went to a struggling college program and he has brought them to with in 1 maybe 2 years of being in the top 10 year after year. So i think he has done a great job. Crennel went to the Browns. The Browns suck and have not been relavent in any football conversation since Bernie Kosar was QB. No one can turn the Browns around. So being a NE basher is fine, but saying they dont produce quality coaching is wrong. We would not know anything about a well run organization or a quality coaching staff in Chicago because we have not had one for many, many years. Don't hate, appriciate

    Cutler

we must at least inquire about him now http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_11919325?source=rss
  19. i doubt he had "several" teams bidding on him. TO + Rosenhaus = Manny + Boras Just think what could have been if TO was not such a tool...better than Rice perhaps
  20. great deal for the Bills...1 year deal worth 6 mil. He will perform for one year i am sure of it.
  21. Keep this name in the back of your mind...Rhett Bomar QB. He could be a steal for us and really challenge Orton next year. If you remember, he was the starter for Oklahoma until he was caught getting special treatment and getting paid for a job ata cer dealership he did not work at. If he did not get involved with that, you would have never heard of Bradford as Bomar would have been a stud of a QB. Rhett Bomar could be our guy in the 3rd or 4th round.
  22. i am hoping that Maclin drops to us in the first...i think he is going to be a great WR
