  1. I see a WR in the first as well if St. Clair signs...unles of course a special OL is there for us to take (Oher)
  2. Its over...Cassel to KC for their 2nd round pick. I would have given our 2nd rounder for him
  3. well, right now no details...just "expert" trying to break the news with speculation. Reports now are for KC 2nd rounder. I think heis worth more, but we will see what it endsup being
  4. signed by the Pats today...no figures mentioned yet
  5. just watch, and remember i told you so
  6. i heard the same thing. Cassel to KC for the #3 pick and the Pats would select OLB Curry...there would be some other swaping of picks as well.
  7. he is a little blip about the Browns trading Anderson...nothing about the Bears, but they said he could be had for a 3rd. Think the Bears would show some interest? http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Ru...?urn=nfl,142852
  8. cool. If you guys plan on staying, then i am too. Just making sure.
  9. the DaBears forum most of us came overfrom haschanged to a new server. Are we going back to it, or staying here. some of you old heads chime in...what say you
  10. we have a good running game, an excellent kicker, and our TEs are some of the best in the league. Feel better? Now go take some Midol.
  11. that is the post of the year...and sadly, it still holds true going into 2009.
  12. those are the two i want for the Bears. Maclin is a stud and Sanchez is coming from a pro style and is going to be an excellent QB. If we scored those two and then sured up the Oline in 3 and 4...i would love it.
  13. Bradford is returning to Okla...so there is one less QB to choose from
  14. i hear what you are saying, but he did not make Dallas any better...and they have a better QB by far that what we have. I would be willing to do a 1 year contract with him...that is it
  15. they would look damn good. Hester is the perfect slot WR ala Welker. Pair those WRs with our TEs and RB and you have a great offense.
  16. i that senario, i would go rd 1 Maclin rd 2 Loadholdt rd 3 Canfield we need to address WR early and we can sure up the OLine in rd 2 and 3
  17. i that senario, i would go rd 1 Maclin rd 2 Loadholdt rd 3 Canfield we need to address WR early and we can sure up the OLine in rd 2 and 3
  18. lets put Cassel aside for a minute. Why does this organization refuse to address the poor QB play by getting someone of some quality? I mean, i guess they tried...bad luck with Rick Mier and Rex Grossman. But they never really go after a quality QB
  19. the Bears would have no interest in him...we have gone this long without a good QB, why start looking for one now. when was the last time we had a good QB, i mean really good QB. Jimmy Mac??? was he good or was it our WRs? It is kind of strange if you think about it.
  20. The Bears will not spend the money on bringing in talent...so no Asomugha or any of those WRs. Their idea of bringing in talent was bringing Booker back. WTF
  21. we just continue to waste time in fixing this team...once we get a good coaching staff in here all the players will be old and we will be looking to replace them. This organization is inept.
  22. i agree...but he would never work for our owners. They like nice people and i dont think they are really to concerned with winning.
  23. good post and i agree with what you are saying. A great running game would open up the passing game. Use the damn TE 70% of the time when passing. Sign another RB that can play and then draft OLine.
  24. i say good back up. We need a better offensive strategy. If the opponent stops our RB then it is game over. We need to use the TE a lot more. we just need a whole other philosophy.
  25. great effort from the Irish. What i liked about the game was that most of the soph and fresh were on the field making plays. with another great class coming in, i think we will start seeing some good things come from these excellent recruiting classes charlie has put together.
