  4. just look what Dimitroff is doing in Atlanta after just one year. He has brought the NE way of doing business and made some outstanding moves. When you bring in coaches, they bring the system (or a lot of it) with them. It is a good system and with Cassel running it, we could have a real good football team in Chicago. i am just sick of looking at the same stiffs coaching this team and the same front office that puts a mediocre product on the field every year
  5. ok, yes i am a Patriot homer, but here is how i would at least attemp to turn our beloved Bears around (although it would never happen) Fire GM and coaches. Hire Scott Pioli as GM, Josh McDaniels (NE O Coord.) as head coach...let them hire the rest of the staff. Sign Matt Cassel. We need to turn this franchise in a new direction and i think those are the guys to do it. What say you
  6. lovie is a schmuck...this team needs some character. This is a very mundane, ho-hum, lifeless team. When was the last time you have seen lovie get into it with a ref. we need some fire and a coach that will light a fire under the players. our best bet it to hire Cowher and let him run the show...of course the lame ownership will not do that.
  7. i am in agreement with you Pix...upgrade OLine via draft and FA for that matter. Same with WR, draft one, sign one
  8. they do not have to serve in the armed services if they get drafted by the NFL...the service can let them out of the commitment. how do you come to the determination that Lane is lazy...because he is fatter? just wondering
  9. ya, that challenge that got us the ball on the 20 instead of the 4 inch line was his best coaching to date
  10. I think it is safe to say that Hester is no longer a mystery...he has been reduced to a mere mortal. Orton is playing very bad this game. I wonder if Forte can throw the ball?
  11. outside of Forte, we don't have anyone that can catch the ball consistently. How much was it going to cost us to keep Berrian??? he looks pretty damn good. This team is so damn frustrating!
  12. I think it is ironic that you brought up Halas...as history has taught us, he used to spy on the opposing team in the locker room to get an advantage. New England has a great organization from the owner all the way down to the kid that retrieves the tee after a kickoff. I wish the Bears had an organization half that put together.
  13. because everyone on defense goes for the knockout blow instead of good tackling technique.
  14. just sign cower and let him do his thing...this coaching staff is a disgrace!
  15. it does not look like Lovie does much of anything. You see him on the sideline and he is just standing there. They show him on tv and he is just standing there not even talking into the head set. I am sure he is involved, but i think we need more of a vocal leader coaching this team. Just my opinion
  16. i root for the guy who is under center, regardless who it is
  17. I really take offense to your post...and i've come to the conclusion you are the biggest idiot on this board
  18. i agree. We do not need him right now and we definitely dont need a rookie who has not played a down in the NFL getting some reps at this point of the season. We need this guy for the next 10 years, we dont need him now.
  19. i would say Johnson, Horton, Ryan, and Mayo (in no particular order) are all in front of Forte at this point. Forte has been nice for us, but he is not out performing those guys i mentioned.
  20. we should have kicked deep and took our chances with special teams...but everything is hind sight
  21. the OLine #$%& us and Mike Brown #$%& us. He sucks and needs to retire because his injuries have taken their toll and he is not half the player he used to be.
  22. by the time the rookie QB is ready to play, i think we will be on the down side of our "run". We have a pretty good team now, but we will need to rebuild at a certain point. just my opinion. Dont know which vet, but that is the way we should go. Draft should be for OL, WR, SS/FS
  23. haha...i could use one now and then myself!
  24. how bout i just come over there and punch you in the face cracker lol
