Good TD drive by Hanie at QB
-
it is working great for me

i get fooled every year with this team...thinking "this is the year". I am setting the goals low and saying they will win 4 games...anything more and i will consider it a good year.
-
Simms would step in as our #2 and eventually beat out Rex for the starter without a doubt. Our QB situation suck and we go through this every year...with each new year we seem to forget how bad our QBs are. I say yes to simms

i think Urlacher is the face of the Bears until he retires...Harris might be the leader of the Bears in the locker room
-
we do not have a complex playbook as far as i can tell. I dont think it would be a problem bringing him in. I dont know if i would get used to it though...he would have to be real mad a Green Bay to do it
-
i think the Packers need to move on. Farve had a great run and is everything Packers, but this is getting rediculous. How do you tell a guy that has been the face of your team to "beat it, we are moving on". farve needs to know when to hang them up and the time is now. He can only fling the ball up for grab so many years until he can t produce that majic anymore. the time is now for Farve to walk away before he makes an ass out of himself.

with all due respect...he was not going to scramble on a broken leg

Forte and Benson are going to be a force this year, i just know it. If they handle thier business, then that will take the spotlight of the QB position and they wont have to rely on it to win games.

Cedric Benson Vs. Joakim Noah: Why Are We More Angry at Benson?
Boston Boxer replied to tshanno's topic in Bearstalk
BINGO. If Benson was putting up 1200 yards a season, we would be saying it is no big deal...but since he has basically been crap the whole time, fans tend to make mountains out of mole hills. I say it is no big deal. Everyone has driven over the posted speed limit at least once in thier and i am sure he did not have any ill intent on the boat with his mother present. I am willing to give him one more chance to prove himself on the field. -

Many Fans Don't Care About "Spygate". But They Should.

i am sure they are the only team that does that too! -
Anyone else disgusted by Favre's weeping today?

Anyone else disgusted by Favre's weeping today?

well, i did put in a smiley face to note that i was just joking. but with that kind of response, you really must be a freakin pussy. I learned how to be tough growing up in South Boston and then in the military where for the last three years i have been dodging bullets in Afghanistan (3 different tours). so aside from posting a smiley after my post denoting that i was just having fun, i dont know what else to do. You guys have really changed after we moved to this new board. -

that's why your high school team was eliminated...because half the players were sissy crybabies -
Who is your BEARS sleeper/suprise contributors for 2008?
Boston Boxer replied to ParkerBear7's topic in Bearstalk
i will say Devin Hester. If the Bears use him like the Pats use Wes Welker, then Hester could take his game to a whole new level. The Bears need another WR opposite Booker so Hester in the slot running in open space would be unstoppable. Also would open up the TE patterns. Short, fast, routes will also take pressure off the QB who is usually on his back or running for his life most of the game. -
you are all hypocrites. do you all remember or at least heard of George "Papa Bear" Halas bugging the opposing locker room? What about George Allen filming practices? http://www.thesportgallery.com/sport-stori...aug-nflspy.html

what the hell is a jagbag?
-
well actually they had already shook hands at mid field and were headed to the locker room when the refs put 1 second back on the clock and made them snap the last play.

Pats 31 Giants 17 Maroney MVP

obviously, Harrison is and i would agree the rest of the league is also. But you are saying the only reason the Pats are keeping up with the rest of the league is because of HGH...that is just flat out stupidity. This debate could go on forever. The fact is you can't compare two team from two totally different eras and say one would be better than the other. People can point out stats and everything else under the sun, but the league now has much better teams top to bottom than in the past. Again, nobody can compare teams from different eras, it is just impossible to do IMO
-
are you saying that the Pats are on HGH? Like Hester said, there is no point in taking about this because most on this board are uber homers and refuse to accept differing opinions.

and let the rebuilding begin...we are now well on our way to returning to the Super Bowl.

good call...he reminds me of Leftwich. way to long of a delivery
