The first issue I had with the Martz hiring is the protection of the qb. The Martz offense gets QB's hit anyways. Pairing it with this O-Line makes it that much worse.

Another reason is, no one wants to be the coach who gets their star, highly paid, defensive player hurt while playing out of position try to cover jump balls to CJ.

Like I said, its all good. I just want to express my opinion, even if it is about Martz, with out being hassled about it and called names. I have no problem ignoring Jason, as I have tried to do that in the past. The fact that others have expressed the same sorts of opinions of our OC, especially last week, with the same type of comments, indicate to me that there is a personal thing going on. Its just a message board, after all.

You are right about going way back, though. Why were your admin privileges taken away again? I know some of the mods love you and your snark so I wont expect anything.

Its all good. Jason just has a personal thing for me. He is allowed to call names and personally attack me, but its cool. The funny thing is, I just want the Bears to win. If Martz was getting it done fine. But Martz has done all the crap I thought he would when he was hired. Seven step drops with a crappy O-Line. Get the quarterback killed and now he is gunshy. The QB throws a bunch of picks. Fail to adapt to personnel. Bring in his crappy explayers. Statistically he has not been better than Turner. At the very least, if we had a different OC last year, then the Packers do not win that last game and are not frikin world champs. Overall he has not been good. But for some reason I have to get yelled at every game thread. lol, and I haven't even said anything about him today...
