  1. I'm in on bringing back Fuller unless he is looking to break the bank and I say target one WR not with the team in FA and resign Wright and Meredith and make Bellamy either the last cut or 53rd player on the team. I'm still not comfortable with the comment one former player said about Bellamy after his much publicized disagreement with Tre McBride, that Bellamy goes after teammates girls.

    Toub Rumor

Sources have said that Ted Phillips didn't know the deal was finalized that night at the dinner that involved only Pace, his wife and Nagy and his wife. None of this has been confirmed but so far all the tidbits have slowly but surely have checked out.

    Toub Rumor

This whole thing has not gone as expected and Toub makes sense with him being on staff with Nagy at KC. Another interesting tidbit I heard while listening to David Kaplan on ESPN Radio AM !000 during an interview with Brad Childress about Nagy. Evidently his interview with the Bears was a lot more comfortable than his interview with the Colts even though Ballard has a history with Nagy at KC. Speculation is Irsay got more involved than he should have and Pace had the lead in the Bears process.

    Toub Rumor

Sports Mockery is reporting that sources tell them that Nagy is going hard after Dave Toub to be his special teams coordinator. If he lands both Fangio and Toub as his coordinators that would be unbelievable.

    Nagy's offense

After Kendall Wright, there are question marks at the WR position. FA , draft and UDFA are all options Pace needs to utilize to shore up the position.

    Calvin Ridley

When I think of Ridley ,I almost think of Calvin Johnson who really didn't get to showcase his skills on the college level similar to Julio Jones also.
  7. I was thinking about Donatell for HC late in the season to keep Fangio around but what he has done with Fuller,Amos,Jackson and LeBlanc has gone unnoticed by some and I'm sure he would like a chance to be a DC again.
  8. Seems Nagy has some kind of relationship with Trubisky.
  9. I know some may not want to hear this but, if Pace announces the changes in the organization then a 2yr extension may be in the offing (didn't this play out with Angelo?) because no coach will take the job on a 3yr contract. So if the rumblings are true that upper management suggested that Pace strongly consider Fox after he suddenly became available per Accorsi then Pace deserves a true chance to hire his on guy that you can hog tie him to. There is no way I believe that a guy who comes from the Saints organization wouldn't want something more along the lines of the organization that he came from. This play not to lose and hope the defense gives you field position is Fox's style every where he has been a head coach as well as running back by committee. So we should brace ourselves come Jan 2 to see Pace work out his whole contract and then some whether we believe it to be right or wrong. Remember Teddy is still running this organization.
  10. Mongo my friend I support your opinion about the staff so with that being said I watched First Take today and believe that Elway who has put together a Super Bowl participant 2 times in 6 years should get the benefit of the doubt but just like Beli.... he has made some drafting mistakes. In the case of this staff the head man has hand cuffed both his coordinators according to rumors which is why you heard the Fangio leaving rumblings last offseason. I personally could care less what a coach has to say during the week and prefer to see him have his team prepared at the begining of every game and I ask you does this staff do that?
  11. I think you can add Tyrod Tyler and Kurt Cousins to the mix also and who is the odd man out in Minn.
  12. Sprains to PCL and MCL and placed on IR and done for the rest of the season.
  13. After seeing the shackles come off against the Lions and after failing to continue to attack the Packers in the 3rd quarter, shows me the reason why Elway showed Fox the door in Denver because he likes to play too conservative. Matt Hasselback who was at Tennessee when Loggans was OC there said early this season that he didn't know the Dowell Loggans that was calling all those running plays. He swears that he was a lot more innovative and creative in Tennessee. I believe that. As for my head coaching candidates: Shaw at Stanford, I like Toub also and a wildcard with rumors that he may be on his way out at Texas A&M Kevin Sumlin
  14. With depth at ILB depleted with Freeman probably gone and Trevathan oft-injured, I believe this position should be addressed also.
  15. This was the most disgusting performance under this staff to date! I can't believe how flat the defense played and the trend of this team being 0-3 after the bye week under this staff continues! The trend that this team is 0-6 under this staff when they are favored continues. The trend of being out coached continues. The penalties that continue to stall drives continues and that's on this staff! This is a train wreck! Ryan Pace is not without blame also!
  16. I agree that we should temper the new coach talk until we see how this team comes out against the packers after the break, This team is 3-5 after playing 3 consecutive road games and went 2-1 in those 3 and should have gone 3 and 0 with a little more discipline and luck in the Atlanta game and Minnesota game this would be a 2 loss team. I will go to my grave thinking Miller made that catch and Fuller wasn't the only guy lined up offsides on the field goal.
  17. Not good and we got a guy still standing!
  18. If it was said to Dan Hampton why isn't he tweeting it? Just looking at the way the defense played and factoring in the injuries and mistakes on offense and officiating and that is absolute B.S.! Since Hampton comes on the Final Word with Lou Cannelis on FOX 32, what Saints player was he talking with while hear in Chicago?
  19. Mort reporting that Miller is under going an MRI post surgically to see the structure and status of his leg!
  20. Agreed and to put it in perspective Teddy Bridgewater had the same injury without nerve damage and he is just now getting back on the practice field on a limited basis.
  21. The bye week should be an endless line of guys in trying out. At this point someone who can make a 48 yard indoors should be the focus. last season 18 of 23 and so far this year 7 of 11.
  22. The play of the secondary can't be over looked also. The tackling of Fuller, Jackson and Amos, plus the forcing of turnovers are an end result of the front 7 play. Right now the weak link seems to be Amukamara who is repeatedly targeted by the opponents. I'm wondering what Cooper's status is. I thought I saw him on the sideline in uniform.
  23. That was one of the worst leg injuries I have seen and ranks right up there with Tim Krumrie in the Super Bowl and Joe Theismann on the Monday Night game against the Giants.
  24. We'll see what he can do after the bye week.
