After posting what David Kaplan said on the radio today about Lynch and Thomas being classmates on a project together at Stanford, I would think Pace should know that also! I guess not.
-
After what happened in round 1 I have no clue what Pace is going to do just like last year with Floyd. I see everyone's thoughts but what are you basing your opinions on? We have been posting mock drafts for months and no one saw a trade up from 3 to 2 for a QB.
-
Evidently John Lynch went back to Stanford to finish his degree after his career ended and he had a class that had a class project that 2 students are assigned to work on and his classmate on the project was Thomas. So that is Kap's spin on who he thinks is going at 2.

NFL Networks' Chad Rueter 7 round mock has the Bears taking Adams and King but no QB Adams SS Boiles OT Sheehan TE King S Wise DE Malone WR Onwuala OLB
-
There is quite a few analysts who are split between Adams and Thomas. Mayock has Lattimore going to the Bears.
-
I totally agree but for us who have been following this since during the college season are ready for it to get started.
-
The analysts, beat writers of the national sports media outlets are the biggest culprits and if you listen closely to them they back peddle after they make they're claims. This year more than ever before the info has been flowing in a different directions everyday. The NFL Network is the worst at it as they try to scoop the others plus create a buzz for the league.

Allen for me.
-
I'm witcha and also feel there is no one that takes the safety out of the box for Howard.

1. Jamal Adams SS LSU Mike Brown I miss you I believe this is our guy and the comments about his leadership skills is a plus. 2. Cam Robinson OT ALA The Bears cannot continue to draft tackles in the late rounds and try and plug them into the starting lineup 3.Tyus Bowser OLB Hou Concerns about McPhee's knee has me wishing for some depth at edge rusher 4a. Nathan Peterman QB Pitt They saw him up close and personal at the Senior Bowl in practice while coaching him.He also did play in a pro style offense and going under center is no big deal for him. 4b. Jordan Leggett TE Clemson Since this is a dream, picking him here would be incredible value. 5. Julien Davenport OT Bucknell At pick 147 is where I target a OT project that was seen up close at Senior Bowl 7. Robert Davis WR Georgia St. At 221 darts at the board!

Agree on 3 of your four, thinking WR may be not such a priority since they did some patch work in FA. I believe the only reason you listed that position is because you are not sold on what they have currently. A safety has to be in the top 4.
-
Listen to yourselves and realize you are making judgements prior to the draft and training camp!
-
I'm puzzled. Did Fisher ban Dickerson from the Rams facility or something? I know he was traded when Vermeil was coach.
-
Per NFL Network no contract details released so far except it being a 1 year deal.
-
I don't agree with drafting a player at 3 to sit behind a starter! I say try and trade back in round one for the red shirt player so you can get the 5th year option. With Glennon's contract and next years' more talented QB class are also a good situation with the prospects of the team being that bad it would be in line with the long term goals of the team to take a prospect this year and go for a franchise QB next year like Tampa did with Glennon and Winston. IMO you go impact at 3 and try to get back in round 1 or take a player in round 2 or 3 to learn the position.

If ever there was a guy who is mentally prepared to handle a big media market it is Kizer. Very well spoken answered all questions with class and his answer about Brian Kelley's comments about him staying in school was"Its true I did have 2 more years and I do have room to grow and at 21 years old I am young". " Trying to be a starter in the league against guys like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers who have been pros since I've been playing football tells me I have room to grow". The last Notre Dame player I really wanted the Bears to draft was Chris Zorich who said he would pay to play for the Bears. I have been a Mahomes guy all along but, I liked how Kizer handled himself with Kap.

The alternate lifestyle rumors are surfacing! Mossy Cade, Mark Chumura(SP?) and now Rodgers? There was a Brewers player whose name escapes me! Enjoy your career in Wisconsin professional athletes!
-
Their explanations it what makes you want to hurl and its clear that they don't follow any of these teams with their comments.
-
We just saw that they let Ego go but there has been little talk about Sutton who I believe they like more than they have let on. Trust me the next mock will have a good look at the 3 spots that had movement. Put Sidney Jones Jones at pick 67, Deshon Hall DE at 117 and Robert Davis WR Georgia St at 221.
-
Isn't Fangio another DC that calls his safeties interchangeable?
-
3. Jamal Dams SS LSU 36. Cam Robinson OT Ala 67. Tyus Bowser OLB Hou 111. Nathan Peterman QB Pitt 117 Jordon Leggett TE Clemson 147. Julien Davenport OT Bucknell 221. Bug Howard WR North Carolina This is mock 10 for me and after seeing that Bowser and Leggett are rising on the site I use and Howard dropping as a late round pick number 11 is on the way.

Yes and it's hard to think he is not a fan of competition among position groups.
-
I agree and believe that this is the position that will get over-drafted.
-
I don't see Jake Butte's name on your list also
