I look at this totally different. I have never called myself a Chicago Bear Fan, just a Bear Fan! If I could get them online or stream or whatever, I would root for them if they played on the Moon! Just keep the name Bears so I can remain a Bear Fan. I got almost 52 years invested in this team and I believe this is a non issue anyway because they would never move and I believe have a pretty long lease at Soldier"s Field.

per Adam Schefter move approved by owners 31-1 with Miami being the only opposition.
-
Nice move moron! Instead of getting your body ready and mind right for a position switch, you send a clear message to your GM that you are too immature to handle the task. I hope you got your degree but that may not help because once somebody does a background check.

Agreed and it may also be a wake up call.

BTW I came real close to putting Leggett in the 4th.lol

The main improvement in Floyd we need to see is technique to avoid concussions. Being optimistic about the health of White ,Miller and Goldman is hard since they all have injury histories. We should think that anything these players contribute will be a bonus similar to the unexpected contributions of Cam Meredith. White reminds me of Marquis Wilson right now the only difference is the round they were drafted. Obviously the front office isn't as optimistic about the DBs as you are since they targeted CB and S in FA. The draft will also prove exactly how they feel about the DBs. The Key to the OL IMO is Grasu if he can show that he is starter quality at center, Whitehair becomes an interesting situation because there is no doubt he is one of the best 5 OL on the team.

I can't pinpoint which network I saw it on but, whoever was reporting said that there is only to players in Browns' history that you actually can interview Kosar and Jim Brown and that's sad!
-
What is Sanchez's deal? Is it fully guaranteed or does he also have to compete and make the team as well as Shaw?
-
I actually saw that on one of the networks saying that Clark has ALS and there was a quote attributed to Bernie Kosar saying that he was sorry to hear about Gayle Sayers and that Clark my have been suffering symptoms while making picks for the Browns. What was Bernie suffering from when he couldn't get the Browns past the Broncos.

I understand and was trying to give you an idea as to which positions I felt are a needs. Obviously I like QB and OT as top needs since I took 2 players at each position. I know the 2 rookie QB thing has not worked well often but if you have a group of Glennon backed up by Watson and Kaaya as opposed to one of the draftees and Connor Shaw I think is a wash. All 3 would be inexperienced as starters in the NFL. I also think that in this defensive scheme DE and Edge/OLB are important also.

My take: 1. Mike Williams WR Clemson Later in the round we trade with the Saints and get Watson at 11and Cam Robinson at 32 2.Obi Melifonwu SS U Conn 3. Derek Rivers DE Youngstown St 4.Brad Kaaya QB Miami 4. Jake Butt TE Michigan 5. Cordrea Tankersley CB Clemson 6. Colin Buchannon OT Miami Ohio 7. Tyler Bowser OLB Houston

I have been mulling over this crazy notion of converting Langford to WR. He is still relatively early in his RB career as he converted from DB at MSU and really hasn't fully reached his potential and with Howard in tow I see limited chances for him so why not try him at WR?

Per Jeff Dickerson and rumored to have resigned CJ Wilson per his agent

Some of us on this board can remember when he electrified Wrigley Field with his spectacular plays but none of us want hear that he is suffering from dementia! Prayers for my childhood hero and his family!
-
AP and Howard are similar backs both lacking in pass receiving so I say no because if you want a similar back draft Fournette. If you want a true young one two punch, Tennessee's Kamara or Clemson's Galman are 3rd day options.

The reason for taking a QB in the first as a long term solution is because of the contract structure which gives teams the opportunity to sign the 1st rounder to an extra year(5?) which is the situation that presented itself to the Seahawks and Russell Wilson when his original contract expired. That should be the only reason why they would take a QB in round 1. That is why I'm on board with trading back into the first for a QB.

We can find stats to support any cause! I wonder how many of those ints were pick 6's?
-
The idea of "red shirting" players has always been something the Bears have done but, winning may have more of a premium than we think with this organization. I am also on the Jake Butt bandwagon. The problem is that the Bears need playmakers now. Selfishly I want all the Bears picks to be available on every Sunday this Fall.
-
The second tier of prospects is where the Bears are probably targeting with Glennon as a 2 year window to this prospect. My second tier is Mahomes, Webb, Kaaya and Peterman are in this group IMO. Peterman because the staff worked with him and could see if what they showed him translated on the field at the Senior Bowl.

Clemson Steve Fuller 1st round for Chiefs Jimmy Claussen 2nd round Panthers TJ Yates 5th round? Texans Bust my chops if I'm wrong on Yates because this is off the top of my head.
-
Agreed about Meredith and Patterson! He is Devin Hester with less stats on kick returns imo. I like the idea of adding a Zay Jones or Evan Engram by round 3.
-
I will have no problem rooting for a guy sucks up to the fans and here's hoping he means it!
-
This WR group has no one currently that scares opponents, so in my mind a wildcard pick at 3 would be Mike Williams but, I'm not on board with that! I do think that if we are patient as fans and a franchise, we are going to have a relatively young team that might mirror the 84 team!

Damn Jason stop spying on me while I'm writing my notes lol! My only difference is Mixon at the 3rd pick and I'm hoping for either Obi .... and Zay Jones at this spot.
