The only player waived Friday who has played in a regular-season game for the Bears is Asiata, who appeared in the first two contests last year. Url is actually the best LB for what this defense calls for MLB to do. He out shines any LB that played in this defense. Sumari and Butkus were 2 totaly dofferent LB's. I do agree though that Butkus was the Greatest. However Url if he were in that 85 bears D, I feel he would have been the best LB on the team.

Well they had a First rate center on the roster. Plaus cheaper then spencer. Natural for them to cut the expensive when a solid is alrady on the team. We dont have that luxary and fully expected for Olin to be back. Desperation makes for hasty descisions.

Well Jason Laconfora reorted that it was on Taylor. He called his agent and stated he would be released as soon as today. But Lovie told him he is still part of the team but Saturday your gonna not be in our plans.

I say draft a stud next year and trade briggs. Draft a guy that play Mike and weak, that way Url replacement is covered and can fill in at brigs position till Url retires.
