  1. Guys, I’m not sure where to even start. But before the season I think most of us thought Poles had this thing heading in the right direction. And yes we were questioning the offensive line and after taking so many hits there what was questionable became a weak link. The record at the beginning of the season was always a mirage. And the wheels came off due mostly to us facing better teams but also due to horrendous coaching. Just hiring a new coaching staff and repeating the cycle again doesn’t seem to be the answer to me. That said, I’m lost as to where we go from here. I really can’t even watch the games at this point. And Caleb is THIS CLOSE to being the latest sacrificial lamb on the Bears QB alter. I still believe Poles brought a great deal of talent to our rosters but there have also been several mistakes. And leaving the coaching staff in place for this season was a huge mistake. Hindsight is 20 20. I don’t believe he made that decision in a vacuum and the rot starts at the top of the organization. More great draft picks this year and a new coaching staff, is that really all we have to look forward to? I’ve done that now for 20+ years, every 3, 4 or 5 years. Nothing changes! Talk me off the ledge guys. Please.
  2. Lose to the 3 win Patriots in embarrassing fashion. Lose on a last second Hail Mary against the Commanders. Lose three winnable games in a row against division opponents. And last season was more of the same. Losing winnable games. We need a coach who wins those and steals a win here or there in games that they’re outmatched but get lucky anyway. This team has talent. Use this draft to build the Offensive Line and fill holes. They need better leadership. I’m disappointed the clowns who own my favorite team continue to fail us but MAYBE they’ll get it right this time. Firing Eberflus was a step in the right direction. Probably a year late but WTF I’m only 60 so maybe they’ll get it done before I die….
  3. 100% agree. Caleb with his typical bullshit start. Maybe they need to get him out there before the game to throw a few more times than he does. He’s done this basically every game.
  4. He showed promise that was missing in the first two games, that’s for sure. Rookie mistakes are to be expected. That said, I blame the coaches. We continue to lose close, winnable games. Pisses me off.
  5. Only if the QB is names Mahome or Rodgers. A few others. It’s nonsense. Unrelated point, Flus sux at challenging.
  6. Literally played for the field goal. Was biting his nails when making the calls. Can’t play in fear. Man up, bitch!
  7. Yep. Play calling isn’t very creative and the line is getting no push.
  8. We drive down the field with no effective running game and Caleb doing great. Get to the red zone and run twice and then try a slow developing pass for a sack. Not ok.
  9. Honestly I have no idea how to feel about this game tonight. We could get our asses kicked or we could win. We’re rightly the underdog here but maybe the offense will play good enough to compete.
  10. Pulled due to photo not copying in as expected.
  11. Full list per Yahoo DT Keith Randolph (waived) DB Douglass Coleman (waived/injured) TE Tommy Sweeney (waived) WR Nsimba Webster (reserve/injured) RB Ian Wheeler (reserve/injured) OL Ja'Tyre Carter (waived) DL Jaylon Hutchings (waived) LB Javin White (waived) WR John Jackson (waived) WR Peter LeBlanc (waived) DL Michael Dwumfour (waived) OL Jerome Carvin (waived) LB Paul Moala (waived) DB Quindell Johnson (waived) DT Byron Cowart (per report) WR Collin Johnson (per report) QB Brett Rypien (per report) OL Aviante Collins (per report) TE Stephen Carlson (per report) DB Leon Jones (per report) DL Deshuan Mallory (per report) S Adrian Colbert (per report) OT Jake Curhan (per report)
  12. Maybe we can track and discuss them here. The Trib is reporting that Rypien was cut. Nothing else at this time…
  13. 25 more early tomorrow. There’s going to be a surprise or two I suspect. The positive is that’s a sign that the team is getting better.
  14. Ha! You could have said Michael or Payton era instead. 😀
  15. Thought I’d bring this to the top. I don’t have HBO so was wondering if the show provided any insights that haven’t already been shared in this thread. Most interested in chemistry between CW and the offensive players.
