Just found this. http://assets.chicagobears.com/assets/trad...Numbers2006.pdf

Mark Carrier was one of my favorite #20's.
-
I guess they aren't as satisfied with Cutler as the koolaid drinkers think they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'd certainly try to be there!
-
To my recollection, yes. But I just remember Conway/Graham a lot more than Conway/Robinson. Conway and Graham were a pretty damn good tandem. I'll take Marshall/Jefferey over them big time but they were solid in a less dynamic offense with a much less capable QB. Marty Booker was damn good in his day too! Don't off the top of my head recall him having a stud sidekick, however.
-
They both downplayed it afterwards if this was the scuffle reported a few days ago. If this is a new one, the same two got into it again... Which is interesting and fun.
-
Maybe you mean Jeff Graham because Conway's big years, IIRC, were with Jeff opposite him. Conway did OK in 99 but Bobby Engram had the big stats with Marcus that year.
-
OK, glad you're reading it the same way as me. If you just read the headline you might think differently.

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...eceivers-in-nfl I like it but one year does not a career make. He'll need to keep it up to earn it.

Is it possible Urlacher could come back for a season? Sure. However, I don't expect it. For one, he's moved on. I guess we'll see but I'd be surprised.

Current: Nut All time: Sweetness

I'd trade him if he isn't buying into the system. Otherwise, he's still got more value to us than he'd fetch in a trade. But I wouldn't sign him to an extension after this contract is over. By then, hopefully, one of the younger guys has proven themselves to be his successor.
-
I doubt I hurt his feelings. Dude doesn't listen to anyone but himself anyway. Oddly it was reported here that Urlacher was a Cowboy but everything I see says that's just a rumor and most places I looked said it wasn't likely. Not sure where that report came from but it sure made TD excited. I'm not sure I agree with you about Urlacher being DONE before last year but I'm pretty sure the Bears were fair to him with their offer and he demanded more and thought he could play games in the media to get his way. Then he found out there was a new sheriff in town.

LOL! I can feel the love!

Cutler should be a top 10 QB this year. Marshall and Jeffery are about right because there's two studs on one team which isn't the case with most of the other top 10 at WR. Hell, throw in Bennett and Forte who also steal catches and receiving TD's and you might consider Marshall and Jeffery rated a little too high. This D is a bottom 10 D until it proves otherwise. Forte is ranked in a good spot.

Gawd damn, are we men or high school girls? If he took his ball and went home it's on him. If he posts something at noon today will there be a bunch of "Welcome back!" posts? :shakehead Pathetic...

Not sure why you referenced me twice in your drunken rant. I was the first one in this thread to come to Jason's defense and I don't even really like the guy. But he never did anything here that I wouldn't expect from a friendly fight with a buddy about sports after a beer or two. I enjoy arguing with him! He's just a little too arrogant for his own good but I'll always defend his right to express his views. With that said, everyone needs to stop all this meta bullshit and stick to fighting about the Bears, not about the presonalities here. Whether I like someone more or less than someone else here doesn't make me right or wrong, or a Kool Aid drinker or any other term meant to slam my or other's views. TD, face it, no matter what you believe after several beers, nobody ran Jason off. If the dude is gone, the dude took his ball and went home. He and others here have had many more personal fights than anything said this time around. Why did he get all pouty and piss off? Frankly I don't even know if he's really gone, he said he was "out" which could've simply referred to this thread only. Hell, I move on from threads myself, all the damn time! And getting back to the Bears for a minute... your comments about Urlacher won't be proven until he plays and even then someone could say he needed a season to heal up from whatever scared the Bears off. Nobody here knows shit that happened between #54 and Bears brass. Nobody. It's all pure speculation.

LOL! You two crack me up.

Speaking of which, what ever happened to NFO? He and I had some classics. I respected him a little more than Jason but those were some awesome threads! Jason shouldn't go anywhere, break or otherwise. I mostly ignor Terra and anyone here that has a problem with Jason can do the same to him. Or me. Face it, none of us are perfect.
-
Ha, in one respect it's cool to see others have similar "concerns" about our boy Jason but damn it guys, this is pretty over the top. He can certainly be a tool but his toolishness tends to get this site a lot more traffic. I mean, we're into the 6th page of BS under a thread he started, by way of example. So, I guess all I'm saying is let's all just take a deep breath and chill. The season is months away and we're all fans. And fighting on the internet is a HUGE waste of energy. Just troll him like I do. PS. I remember the censorship stuff because one of my posts in that era was "disappeared" in it's entirety. Pissed me off and I PM'ed Pix about it. He talked me off the ledge and I'm still here. Hell, I can't even remember which admin did it. I guess I'm like a good cornerback or some shit, short memory. Let's talk about something we can all agree on: The Packers SUCK! There, that ought to do it...

There's a link above to the story on ChicagoBears.com. Regardless, I just saw that Trestman invited Singletary to the OTA's today. Well played, Trestman. Now maybe consider hiring him to be our DC!!!
-
Thanks. I'm really looking forward to the season!

Dude can't survive the first day of OTA's? He's done.
