I’ll say this Garrapollo (sp?) looks pretty solid. If we can get Biscuit to perform at least that well at some point (this year or next) we’d be sitting pretty.
I hear ya. And Trubisky needs to be more heads up on a play like that. I get protecting the ball outside when running but when you need to stretch for first down...extend with the right.
I’m just saying but if you hear those pops on the field, Reuben Foster is in the area. Last two plays he’s laid some serious wood. Coulda drafted him but... no
He’s overthinking. I like that he’s trying not to turn it over but you’re right. Definitely getting bad about holding the ball. On the replay Bellamy was open on the crossing route although probably wouldn’t have been a 1st.
Lol!! Thats the best, if not funniest, endorsement yet. I’m a Nebraska guy so I’d just as soon see all the other HCs leave. It would be cool to see Meyer give it a go in the bigs.
So I’m guessing you wouldn’t want to see Harbaugh leave?
Funny but not a bad idea. He was just recently fired from Denver. He’d consider it I’m sure.
A quick look at his past experience with QB coaching saw Orton set passing yard records both individually (and 4th overall yds/game in the NFL in 2010). The following year McCoy adapted the offense to Tebows style where he led in rushing yards and got the Broncos to the playoffs (under Fox’s guise). - Wikipedia.
The more I read, the more I like it Connor. Good suggestion.
Sanchez is more like a massage therapist in his role on the team than strategist. I’m not convinced he was as much the mentor to Prescott as was Romo but ok. If Sanchez was there for his advice on “seeing the game” then Biscuit would be advancing more than he has. If anything Sanchez can dispense advice on how not to fail and deal with adversity.
Connor, please for all that is good don’t ever say Sanchez’s name again. I’ll stop hoping for Glennons return if you promise me he’ll be ‘the one who’s name will never be uttered (or seen) again in Chicago’.
What other choice is there? They picked Trubisky and “he’s the one”. Surely Pace wouldn’t trade up for another ‘can’t miss’ QB prodigy?
I see the writing on the wall and need for the foundation of a strong offense. OL makes sense now that a large number of your offensive skill players are in place. Save WR of course.
