I like what you are saying but we cant blame it all on Lovie. Lovie cant block, catch, tackle or run.Marshall dropped a few TD passes, Davis dropped passes as well, the line didnt block, the D didnt tackle so it a team affair. But what i will say that we now have an Offense minded coach and some of the problems might be fixed. If we out score the other team we win...LOL
-
Ok good...stone hands gone, who is NEXT!!!!!
-
The Seahawks and 49ers are not on the list....because we dont play them this year....unless they along with us make it to the play offs. The topic was Of the teams we play this year.
-
The ones in bold i say we try to keep and fill the other spots by draft and FA and with players already on the roster. 32 Bell, Kahlil RB 5-11 212 26 4 UCLA 38 Bowman, Zack CB 6-1 193 28 5 Nebraska 2 Campbell, Jason QB 6-5 230 31 8 Auburn 93 Collins, Nate DT 6-2 296 25 3 Virginia 24 Hayden, Kelvin CB 6-0 195 29 8 Illinois 58 Hayes, Geno LB 6-1 226 25 5 Florida State 71 Idonije, Israel DL 6-6 275 32 9 Manitoba (Canada) 60 Louis, Lance G 6-3 320 27 4 San Diego State 10 Mare, Olindo K 5-11 185 39 16 Syracuse 12 McCown, Josh QB 6-4 215 33 10 Sam Houston State 30 Moore, D.J. well dont forget about Scott. Word was that he was wanted back at RT this year....so move Carimi to either one of the Guard spots if he cant make it at RT. So does this mean Fluker is out at RT via the draft? Or do we still draft a OG.
-
Ok you of the letter S you know to whom I was speaking of....ok Wow talk about too much with the proof reading....are you a school teacher.....LOL
-
So on the first day here are the teams we play and who they have lost or are in the position to loose so far Packers....lost Jennings, Woodsen Lions.......Delmas, Cherilus,Hill Vikings...lost Harvin, Winfield. Steelers..,Harrison.Wallace, Mendenhall Ravens.....Lewis,Reed, Bouldin, Ellerbe. Kruger Browns....lost Cribbs, Bengals Saints...lost bushrod, Daniels Cowboys...... Giants....lost Bradshaw,Bennett Eagles...... lost Asomugha, Redskins.....Alexander, Rams.......lost Jackson,Gibson, Amendola
-
Ok on the Bears to do list for the draft and FA the following is needed TE=check Bennett.......cut Davis/Spearth OT=check Bushrod......Webb to back up or RT? MLB/OLB=......Urlacher/Roach....Draft either Olgetree or Bostic OG=..... Moore or draft WR=.....Knox gone need speed guy Austin/Goodwin? DB=......replace Moore and maybe Hayden too
-
Ok now we got TE lets go rape the Jets for Moore (OG) and get Long at OT http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...tellus-bennett/
-
You have to look at the roster we signed Lewis to replace Moore. He is faster bigger and cheaper at this point. And he is a special teams player plus he can return kicks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOoVlprtmlo Lewis, LeQuan CB 5-11 190 24 1 Arizona State 30 Moore, D.J. CB 5-9 180 25 4 Vanderbilt

I agree with you both!! On one hand I want us to be the Saints with that high powered offense, and on the other I want to keep that Monsters Of The Midway flavor.....we can have best of both worlds. Now when(and you cant) compare Graham to Marshall you must understand the Graham is a TE and catching the short routes and down the seams a bit, taking less time to get into his patterns, and Marshall is a WR being jammed and double teamed and taking longer to get into some of his routes. How if we had a Graham and a speed guy to replace Knox....we will be dangerous*******of course after the line is fixed*******
-
First off you cant compare Webb's drug arrest to Sam Hurd's because Webb's was for the little amount of "ganja" and Hurd's was for kilos of cocanie
-
Make sure you look at #70 around the 5:14 mark...how many lineman do that?? Watch #78 step up in level of play...did ok
-
Hey just saying,,,he could be a good back up not a starter.....he has the NFL time put in, the big arm, he is mobile he just needs some work as in contrast to paying Campbell 2 million again to get sacked 5 times in one game by the same person and being scared to throw the ball. So with the right coaches and offense he can be ok http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=IbRUT9YPzoA
-
True.... nice one.....but when you have that family of four with the new mini van...you need that roadster for some me time....to take the stress out. Yes we have Marshall, Jeffry and Bennett in the mini van but a Goodwin/ speed guy later will blow the top off but not in the first RD
-
LOL.....i thought so too......but hey you never know right?
-
Or more stupid than last year...when you can get a speed guy later in the draft to fill the speed need(Knox 5th RD) and not miss a star in the first round that you really need OT/OG/ILB
-
Hey we can also get someone dirt cheap, that has a big arm, not scared to throw the ball (like Campbell) is big, mobile and has a desire to be a good player......call me crazy J Russell from the Raiders cuts. A project worth the bottom basement price....at least see what he has
-
Dont waste your time thinking about Austin Collie.....he is made of glass...easy to break......no we don't need him now Freeney as replacement of Idonije if he is let go????????
-
First off who are these guys?????????..lol...... now to the point......... you want to compare Hester to these WR to Hester by what grounds. These guys are or were WR's in the NFL to start with, what everyone fails to remember is that Hester was drafted as a DB and turned into a WR so he cant be counted on to give us more than what he gives us.Now when you talk about his failure to catch the ball......yes its 50/50 but also take note of our star, beast what whatever you want to call Marshall. How many passes has he dropped this year....I counted at least 5 that were TD'S at least.. along with the other ones. The problem with Hester is that he never has been used properly with the Bears. The Packers have shown the Bears how to use Hester by the way they use Cobb
-
Pretty simple and I agree with you Jason about Hester
-
Might be...he is bigger and faster....looks like he has some coverage skills and can maybe be a return man or coverage man
-
OK now you question our WR's against the Packers. So lets look at them Marshall=Nelson winner Marshall Bennett=Jones tie for what they do Hester=Cobb winner Cobb he was use more and in better situations Jeffrey=Jennings winner Jennings because Jeffrey was a rookie Now GB uses a 5 wide WR set, we don't so they can play a certain scheme without worrying about the one guy taking the top off the back of the defense. Now if we had let just say a Mike Wallace speed guy that drew respect from the defense then we have a better passing lane underneath like the Packers use
-
Ok so you know all these guys but do you know any one of these guys off your list?Just because they are fast do they have the NFL experience under there belt for our win now offense to mess with Cutler? I would rather take one off my list that knows from day one of camp how to play in the NFL rather than not. Tyler Shaw- Northwest Missouri State 4.25 Speed Charles Hawkins- Southern 4.24 Reggie Dunn- Utah 4.28 Jessie Grandy- Central Arkansas 4.30 Skye Dawson- TCU 4.32 Rashad Ross- ASU 4.32 Travis Harvey- Florida A&M 4.32 (6.2") Lindsey Lamar- SFU 4.32 Daymond Patterson- Kansas- 4.34 Jamal Miles- ASU 4.34 Quincy McDuffie- UCF 4.35
