  1. I have no knock on Bennett he is a good route runner and can catch is a$$ off but he is not the deep ball home run hitter like the way we used J.Knox. I think we need another WR deep threat to take pressure off of Jeffrey and Marshall. So what guy are you going to get with hands, speed and is a deep threat in the 5th or 6th round that id any good? Not saying that there wont be, but they will come off the board rather quickly with teams like the Jag, Bills,Browns, Chiefs,Vikings, Fins, Jets, to name just a few needing help at WR
  2. with what (who) we have on the roster now i don't think we will daft a saftey.....it will be OL, OG LB, TE maybe WR
  3. I agree with the first three picks thing are saying but we need a deep speed WR at some point, so do you draft one and waste a pick that you can use on the line ...or get one in FA?

  6. So will all these players on the roster. at FS/SS & CB..who do you think we will keep and let go and who has the best chance of beating out some to make the team? I think Hayden,Moore, Bowman, Steltz, Frey and Walters need to be looking over their shoulders at maybe a pink slip coming. 8. Below is a list of all the players who are due to hit the market this year as a free agents. So who do you keep and who do you punt, pass and kick? Without thinking I will keep the ones in BOLD 2 Jason Campbell (UFA) 10 Olindo Mare (UFA) 12 Josh McCown (UFA) 13 Johnny Knox (UFA) 24 Kelvin Hayden (UFA) 25 Armando Allen (Excl.FA) 30 D. J. Tom Nelson

We signed tom nelson as a FS from the Bengals, but as i was reading up on this guy here are some things that make you wonder and go hhhuuuuuuummmmm???? First off he runs a 4.38 in the 40 yard dash (Hester runs the same) and he plays on special teams as a gunner and return man in college, he runs north and south with his good speed, as a FS he breaks on the ball well and is a good tackler...do you think he makes the team????
  10. Yes you say...the whole point hesitant and slow....he will be faster if he runs north and south like Jones for the Ravens did in the super Bowl
  11. Hester has a few problems one he needs to shut up and play, two he needs to use his speed and talent to run the ball north and south with a few fakes and jukes here and there on punts and kick offs not east and west, and third catch the ball....if he does those things he will be happy again
  12. That was me also.....those stats are the same as jeffery's but he would have been a better fit because he knows how to be a WR.....jeffrey is still learning how to play in the NFL
  13. With the new coach on board i was looking at our roster and noticed that we signed three more WR's to our group. They are listed below Golden runs a 4.32 and could be a deep threat if Knox can't play again. Moss and Toliver are big like Jeffery and Marshall and could fit in behind the two and develop. With Marshall,Jeffrey,Bennett,Hester on the roster we at least need to keep one of these three IMHO or we can trade Weems and Hester for J Cribbs from the Browns Brittan Golden 6-0 185 Dale Moss 6-3 213 Terrence Toliver 6-5 204

    WR coach

Oh great, Sounds like the coach that we really don't need .........lol
  15. Rule NO#1 on defense in fooball..........if he has the ball and wearing a different colored jersey than yours...tackle him......lol
  16. Now I'm in favor of getting good play from the TE spot on this team as well, but you cant just blame Davis. Now in this video those plays were not on him. one pass stripped from behind, one pass thrown 10 foot in the air, and another pass thrown to him in double coverage.....try getting him in the middle of the field matched against a LB without to the coverage skills as a DB and he does well. A TE isn't to be 40 yards downfield matched with a DB unless you have the speed of Davis from SF.
  17. Yes that sound good but think about this....its WHO you draft. We seem to be drafting Oline players with no heart of attitude. Mr smiley face Webb, the Bear jew Carimi, C.Williams who is next? Im not saying draft bad players or no morals one's....just the ones you see with a chip on their shoulders and a mean streak!!! Like this........one game last year Carimi got just flat out ran over by the DE and then he gets up and pats him on the back....damn. Webb does the same thing gets ran over and there is no aftermath!!!
  18. True no need to waste a pick on a TE when you can get a good one thru FA this year.Didnt we just sign two TE's this week........yes we did well sort of...they well most likely never see a snap in a Bears game just camp bodies

    2013 Schedule

I say we sweep both the Lions and Vikings and split with GB....hopefully they loose Greg Jenning to FA

    2013 Schedule

Yes they should have beaten them in the last game ....if we had a short yardage RB

    2013 Schedule

Now that 2012 has left us a game short of the playoffs at 10-6.....2013 is rolling around with the teams we play this year. We have a better test this year playing the NFC East and the AFC North and throw in the Rams and Saints. I will say with the players we have and a few we are going to get we will be right back at least at 10-6 for 2013. Home: Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals Away: Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers Bold = our wins
  22. We win and the Giants loss so we are one step closer to the playoffs. Now we just need for the Vikings to loose against the Packers next week and we beat the lions
  23. s Well it cant be any worst than how the Falcons made the playoffs and didnt even score a point....oh wait yes they did the D gave then 2 points.....lol
  24. Wow really????? Nice thoughts from a real Bear fan
