If we win these last two games and get some help (Vikings loss,Redskins loss and Giants loss) we can be in the playoffs playing again against teams that beat us this year (Packers, Seahawks, 49ers) and get some sweet revenge!!!!

We can still make it to the playoffs just by a few things happening as listed below but we need to win these last two games! Scenarios that would put Bears in playoffs with a 10-6 record: *A Vikings loss and a Giants loss. *A Vikings loss and two Seahawks losses. *A Giants loss and two Seahawks losses. *A Vikings loss and neither the Redskins nor Cowboys win out. *Two Seahawks losses and neither the Redskins nor Cowboys win out. There are scenarios in which the Bears could get in with a 9-7 record: *Two losses by the Vikings, Giants and Cowboys. *Two losses by the Vikings, Giants and Redskins. *If the Vikings lose twice and the Cowboys finish second in the East after tiebreakers (there are numerous

Jeffery and Hester both were at practice yesterday and have a chance to play the week against the Vikings. We really need both of them to take pressure of of Marshall and to give ay someone else to throw to since bennett is going to be out.

True blue fan huh....?? Well the Beaers know that their backs are up against the wall now and will come out swinging. With four games left and three of those against NFC North teams we will go 4-0.We need to win these last four to be NC North champs...beating the Vikings, Packers and Lions and the Cards too. I see it getting done.

Yes me too, but hey we signed an All-pro guard who is in his last years in the NFL, but maybe just maybe he can help the Bears O line out
-
Well maybe not....How many games did AP miss this year? well i know Louis is not AP but you never know how fast he heals.

The Chicago Bears signed guard/center Andre Gurode on Tuesday after waiving defensive tackle Amobi Okoye, the team announced. The Bears lost guard Lance Louis for the season with a knee injury after a hit from the Minnesota Vikings' Jared Allen on Sunday. The Bears also signed offensive lineman Derek Dennis and receiver Dale Moss to the practice squad. The Bears also worked out linebacker Aaron Curry

Now i want to say this is it me saying this or can our running game improve. I have looked at game and have seen that our line has made a few holes that our main workhouse does not see. Forte is not hitting the right OPEN hole at times and does not even try to get outside on plays. Now granted he is getting stuffed in the backfield alot but some plays he just goes this way or that and miss open lanes that can gain 5-10 yards or runs right into the back of our blockers without making cuts at all.

When i typed it the other post didnt show up until i posted it my bad sir......lol

The bears have benched Carimi for the game against the Vikings. J Scott will start RT, and so will Spencer at LG
-
Well i guess you know by now that the real problem with our team is the Oline period. Not the play calling, turnovers etc. Its just that our guys on the line either cant block or just don't want to block. We need to find guys that really want to play with a nasty attitude about blocking. i have said this many times.....our line is SOFT!!!!!! Webb is a big joker who smiles too much.....Garza is old....Carimi is sorry (maybe the knee is still his problem) Spencer is not ok and Luis is somewhat ok. But our tackles are getting our QB's killed......really 5.5 sacks to just one guy.....like they say COM ON MAN!!!!!!!! We had a guy quit cause he got his ass benched........really a killer attitude for a lineman........hell I could do better than these guys. No i will say this.....this form of blocking.....taking steps backwards and letting the defender come to you trying to block him is stupid at best. He has an advantage already over the lineman cause he is going forward while the tackle is going backward ( prime example did you see Carimi on his ass) making is easy to get pushed back. I saw Carimi get pushed flat on his ass all the way back to the QB!!!! What else happened.....SACK!!!!! There is no way we can win like that no matter who we play. Webb and Carimi suck at pass blocking period...go out and get some help now or draft all linemen

Well Tillman will be up against A. Johnson this week so lets hope this is a repeat of the shutting down of C. Johnson from the lions. If we shut down Johnson and contain Foster then we will have a great shot at winning this game.
-
I am the one who was begging for a big WR and we got two...yeah. Now mind you that one is hurt but when he (Jeffrey) returns our Offence will be better because he will take some pressure off of Marshall and give Cutler another big target to throw to. Like i have always said before we need the two BIG WR so that Jay does not have to always throw a perfect pass....just get it in their area and they will catch it most of the time with their hands..... and not let it bounce off their chest like Davis and Hester have at one time this year killing first downs and it creates a real problem for the shorter DB's in the NFL trying to match up with our big two..
-
IMHO the Weems pick up was to replace J. Knox who can play this year or maybe at all. I really dont think they will let Hester go to another team so he can hurt us and we will let Ulacher retire as a Bear.
-
Yes that was my thinking also....lol

Can our two biggest weapons reach 1000 yards? With nine games left Forte has 456 yards rushing. That means he is 564 yards short of 1000. So if we feed him the ball over the next nine games he has to gain at least 62 yards per game. Marshall on the other hand has 575 yards receiving, so he is 325 yards short of 1000. So Marshall has to gain 325 yards over the next nine games and average at least 36 yards per game.......do you think they both get to the 1000 yard mark?

The Chicago Bears signed receiver Raymond Radway to the practice squad on Tuesday. To make room for Radway, the Bears released receiver Joe Anderson from the practice squad. A standout at Abilene Christian University, Radway (6-foot-3, 198 pounds) was cut on Oct by the Cowboys.

You guys still think Cutler checks out of games
Wesson44 replied to Chitownhustla's topic in Bearstalk
Cutler has not checked out of games at all. We have a really sorry line that really gets him killed when he is trying to work his magic. If and when our line blocks and he has time to go through his progressions he is good. -
Darn...we needed him out for our next game with the Packers.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/categ...or-mill/page/2/ The former first-round pick has chosen to sign with the Rams today, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. That means he’s about to board a plane bound for London, where his new team plays the Patriots Sunday. Williams had previously visited the Eagles, Cardinals and Chargers, before making the decision to sign with the Rams. There will be an opportunity to play quickly, as the Rams line has been a patchwork affair all season. Of course, how Williams handles jet lag might also be a factor.

The Chicago Bears signed offensive tackle Cory Brandon to the practice squad on Wednesday. Brandon (6-7, 324 pounds) drew high praise from the coaching staff during the preseason, which played a role in the offensive tackle receiving plenty of snaps during preseason games. This maybe the reason Williams was let go

Easy to do..they have 4 RB'S and 4 TE'S we really dont need Bell or Adams.
