http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ APDespite the fact that Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher has returned to camp, he still isn’t practicing. Thus, the team is making plans for the possibility of an ongoing inability to practice and play, adding a pair of linebackers on Saturday. Joining the team are Xavier Adibi and K.C. Asiodu. Adibi, a middle linebacker who has played for the Texans and Vikings, entered the league as a fourth-round draft pick from Virginia in 2008. Minnesota claimed Adibi on waivers last September, after he was released by the Texans, who were switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4. He started five games as a rookie and three in 2010, before appearing in only four games last year. Asiodu has played for the Rams and Saints, primarily on special teams. He was out of football last season after being cut by the Packers. The Bears also added defensive end Aston Whiteside and waived defensive end Ronnie Cameron and cornerback Jeremy Ware.

Well it maybe true...Willie Gault is like fifty something and still runs a 10,91 100 meter. Well if he makes the roster I think he will prove you to be wrong.

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...inois-de-walker The Chicago Bears signed former Illinois defensive end Derek Walker and waived tackle Tyler Henderson on Tuesday. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Walker played four games with the Chicago Rush last season, recording two sacks and an interception. Undrafted out of Illinois in 2009, Walker entered the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks. Hendrickson was an undrafted rookie out of Concordia (Minn.).

First of all both of them (Moss & T.O) are back in the NFL as some of you thought they we washed up. Now Moss is playing with the 49ers and Smith at QB and T.O in Settale with Flynn/Jackson as the QB. Now they both can run(theu ran 4,4 fourty times for their camps) and they can catch,,,but the problems are their QB's. Now if Flynn starts at Qb then T.O will have about 50 catches, 675 yards and 5 TD'S.
-
See people thought I was crazy to want Moss and T.O for the Bears....now we have to play against both of them this year. Hope we lock then down and they have bad games.

So let me get this right.....you think Sanzenbacher is a better WR than Jeffrey? So thats why Jeffrey was a 2nd RD draft pick and Sanzenbacher was not drafted at all. Sanzenbacher is average at best and did you not see him DROP alot of passes last year.Even though he went in the 2nd RD it was said that Jeffrey had the best habds in the draft.

I will..but looking at what we have and what the Cardinals have it is our game to lose. They dont match up at all to he Bears.
-
While looking at the HOF game I said to myself.....hummmm we play the Cardinals this year and if that is what they have to show as a team, then we shall win that game with ease. I know its early but their QB situation is a mess(now one is hurt) their backs cant stay healthy, and the have two maybe three stars on D with the CB Peterson one of them.

Great video, good music.......love Jay-Z

????????? Here you go again.......

So with Thomas retiring from the Bears that gives the below list of players a chance to make the team. Who do you think will make it? I think the one in bold have the best chance Anderson, Joseph 6-1 196 Crump, Terriun 6-2 223 Golden, Brittan 5-11 186 Sanzenbacher, Dane 5-11 195 Summers, Chris 6-5 213 Weems, Eric 5-9 195

Wow what a time for this
-
No he is not my friend at all....I just look at our roster and determine who we will keep and who gets the axe.Don't you as a fan do the same?
-
I think you are looking too much into it as you say. As for being to nice...that will change the more he gets pushed around. I will hold off on judgement of him...because remember that Denver's DE Elvis Dumervil is 5-11, 260 , Indy's Dwight Freeney DE 6-1, 268, Robert Mathis DE 6-2, 245, so he does not have to be the biggest guy, but if he plays like these guys with that high motor then we will be good.
-
I agree, but IMHO he does not make it pass the first cut.
-
Marshall will have at least 10 of those TD'S this year
-
He needs to get pushed around so he can get into that game day mold. Now that he know what it will be like to get into the heated action he can define his techniques and assess what he needs to do to get better, quicker and around the blockers. Now I bet he has a new plan.

Looking at this again I'm just wondering why were we thinking about signing Otah? Is it because we have no faith in the two players fighting it out for the LT position or we lost faith in either one of them and the loser will be cut if we signed Otah? Or is Otah going to play behind Carimi at RT? I know we still think the line has work to be done, but I really dont think signing an injury prone Otah is better than Webb/Williams at this point.
-
He is one of the backup LB's on our roster.
-
Newly-acquired defensive tackle Brian Price has passed his physical with the Bears and will wear No. 95; LB Adrien Cole switches from No. 95 to 49. So switching from 95 a LB number to 49 a RB/DB number to me is just telling him that he will not make the team.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...rs&lpos=Sub Bears boost CB depth with free agent Ware The Chicago Bears added a ninth cornerback to the roster Saturday when they signed Jeremy Ware, a free agent who was a seventh-round pick with the Raiders. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Bears pursued Otah before trade to Jets The Jets weren’t the only NFL team in pursuit of oft-injured, underachieving offensive tackle Jeff Otah before his Monday trade to New York. A league source told Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribunethat the Bears had “talks with the Panthers” about acquiring the fifth-year tackle. Otah wound up costing the Jets only a conditional seventh-round pick. It’s possible the Panthers chose shipping Otah to the Jets over the Bears because they preferred getting him out of the conference. The Bears’ interest in Otah hints at a couple of things. Chicago is interested in upgrading its offensive line. It also sounds like a potential landing spot should Otah (knee, back) continue to fail his Jets physicals. The trade can be reversed if Otah isn’t medically cleared by this Monday. So if Otah doesn’t wind up sticking with the Jets, his next home could be the Windy City.

Yes ....with Marshall, Jeffrey, Bennett and Hester as the Big Four I see Weems, Thomas, Sanzenbacher, and Summers fighting it out for the last two spots with Knox out.
-
IMHO I think thise is a smokescreen moving Williams to LT. I think he has the job to lose. I think the Bears are giving Webb a chance to compete so it wont hurt his ego being sat on the bench. Why would you move your starting guard to LT if you didnt want him to start. If that were really the case then Williams would be trying to keep his job from Spencer and not dueling Webb
-
Knox was going to be a Bear in 2012. The injury IMHO caused the bears to trade for Marshall and draft Jeffrey and sign Weems and Thomas. In addition to leting Williams go.
