  1. OK good point, but has marshall earned his role as the No 1 for our team....not by what he has done in the past but by what he has done for this team? No but he is the NO1. Jeffrey is the no 2 because we drafted him to be just that.
  2. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1222885...er-devin-hester 1. Jeffrey Possesses a True Outside Threat Opposite Brandon Marshall 2. Hester Is Better Utilized in Special Packages 3. Jeffery Starting Allows Earl Bennett to Play in the Slot 4. Jeffery Is a True Redzone Threat
  3. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1222885...efensive-tackle The situation behind starter Henry Melton is precarious at best and could get worse in an instant. Nate Collins, Jordan Miller, John McCargo, Ronnie Cameron and DeMario Pressley are five players vying for the fourth defensive tackle spot on the Bears roster this year. These five players have made a combined one NFL start between them.
  4. Funny....I read somewhere out of all five(5) of the DT we signed to the team this year only one guy has played in a total of one game. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1222885...efensive-tackle
  5. So this is what our Chicago teachers are teaching our kids??? I have two words for that teacher.....you're Fired!!!!
  6. Now we are down to four QB's. Do we even keep three this year since we got Campbell?
  7. The Chicago Bears signed T Cory Brandon and CB Cornelius Brown. Brandon entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Oklahoma in 2011. The 6-7, 324-pound offensive lineman spent the 2011 preseason with the Buccaneers appearing in all four preseason contests as a reserve tackle but was waived on September 3. Brown originally joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2010 out of the University of Texas-El Paso. He was waived by the Bears after the 2010 preseason and signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad. The 5-11, 198-pound cornerback was elevated to the Colts active roster in November of the 2010 season and appeared in 10 games gathering 16 tackles and three passes defensed. He also returned five kickoffs for 102 yards (20.4 ypr). Brown was released by the Colts during the 2011
  8. True and I hope it all plays out that way. We have they making of being a really good team this year.
  9. Yes i agree some were funny but a few.....well i really didn't think so
  10. That might be true, but them again with our new WR group it might be a disadvantage to the defense. It seems like they are an explosive group now and might be that kind of corp that three plays and you are in scoring range or just have scored. Meaning the defense will be back on the field with less time than they would have had if we had a 14 play scoring drive, rather than a three play drive. Picture this the bears have the ball twice and scored on both of them with a 5 play drive and a 6 play drive. We play the Colts and they dink and dunk and score on two drives of 12 plays and 15 plays. Now whose Defense is tired already?.
  11. No its really simple and easy to game plan against a team like the Packers when you know they are a throwing team. The biggest problem with the game planning is having the right players to do the job.I'll give you two examples. first when we plan the Lions the game plan is to take Calvin Johnson out of the game with double team over the to.....since they don't have the greatest running game. ...same with the Vikings you game plan to stop AP when we did their passing game was week so you didn'tt have to double team their WR's. Now was game plan agaist the Packers to stop the passing attack, but we didn't match up with their WR's in talent wise so we lose that battle, but win the running game war. As far as the Packers goes I dont know who taught Bowman how to play Db at all. I watched that last game and said to myself that he was lined up wrong and is going to get beaten to the inside. Then it happened. Goal line D for a corner is you line up inside taking away the slant forcing them to throw it to the outside so you can use the sideline to your advantage. He is not going deep so you can actually gamble and jump the outside route some what or make the QB throw over you
  12. Thomas makes the team because of special teams play not just because he is a WR.The WR's will be Marshall, Jeffrey, Hester, Bennett,Thomas, Weems. Knox wont play this year, and Sanazenbacher gets cut.
  13. IMHO the Bears should have never drafted this guy in the first place.
  14. Bears waive second-year quarterback Enderle. One more spot open
  15. The Chicago Bears terminated the contract Thursday of guard Mansfield Wrotto, a vested veteran. The Bears waived cornerback Donovan Warren after the first day of minicamp.

    Tim Jennings

Well lets hope he is working hard, cause we need those int's he dropped to get the D of the field and rest them
  17. LOL...well thats what we are here for right?
  18. Now I never said every move the Bears made was a good move, i am saying that some of the moves they make or needed to make can help this team win. Like getting four WR in the draft and FA...look back and see hoe YOU laughed at the idea...oh not to mentin all the three WR above 6'0 we got.Thomas,Marshall,Jeffrey and the UDFA Summers at 6'5. I may not know everything but I do know what we need as a team just by warching them
  19. I agree it's a new GM in town making good moves to get back to winning.
