Well let's hope either way we win this game and the Houston one and the Queens lose to the G-Men
-
If we win our two games and end up 10-6 which would you prefer to happen? 1. The Vikings lose to the Giants and we win the Division and play the first game at home against either the Bucs or the Cowboys. OR 2. We win the wild card by Tampa losing to the Raiders and the Eagles beating the Cowboys and we play the Vikings again in the first round. IMHO I want number one to happen!!!!
-
You know Jacobs played this week and scored three times with a sore knee.......so you know they are not going to left him sit out next week. It's not like the Giants to roll over and play dead to just give a game away. Hey didn't they lose to the Vikings a few years back like 41-10 or something like that in a playoff game when they rested their players the week before?

So far so good everything I wished to happen has came to pass. Dallas Lost Tampa Lost Philly Lost Minny Lost Now I wish the Bears win the next two and the Vikings,Cowboys and the Bucs all lose. and it would be a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
-
Now it's time for the G-Men to come to Minny and do the same thing to the Vikes that the Falcons did!
-
Yeah great game Falcons!!!!
-
If they played like they did in the last game Denver is toast, but if they don't it will be a long warm winter for the Bolts watching the playoffs.
-
If this happens then this will be yet another revenge game for the Bears and they would be without Pat Williams so Kruetz might be able to block someone giving Forte room to run.
-
I just hope next week the Vikings are down by two with 5 seconds left on the clock and the Vikings have the ball on the Giants 3 yard line. They hike the ball, Jackson rolls right and throws the ball to a wide open Wade and it hits him in the chest and falls to the ground....game over Vikings lose!

If the Bears are to have something to play for I think thi would b it. 1 They are playing the Packers. 2 They are playing at home in Dec. 3. Fighting for a playoff spot. 4. Locker room post ups saying that we are done and this article Ex-receiver Wade: Bears will "definitely blow it" By Brad Biggson December 21, 2008 8:54 PM | Permalink | Comments (4) | TrackBacks (0) Everything out of the Bears' hands that could have gone wrong, did go wrong last weekend. The pendulum swung the other way for them this weekend as every outcome they needed for help in their bid for a third postseason appearance in four years happened. But ex-Bears wide receiver Bobby Wade doesn't think the Bears are going to do their part now that their turn is coming Monday night against Green Bay at Soldier Field. More on that in a minute. Minnesota's 24-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons took one of the wild-card spots out of play, but it kept the Bears very much alive in the race for the NFC North. Quite simply, the Bears (8-6) must beat Green Bay Monday night and win at Houston next Sunday, and have the Vikings (9-6) fall at the Metrodome to the New York Giants. It looks more and more like that game is going to have meaning for New York in the sense that they need to come out and play a good game to build some momentum entering the postseason. The Giants, who have lost two in a row, are trailing Carolina 21-13 at halftime right now. "We need the Bears to blow it,'' Wade told reporters in Minneapolis with a laugh. ``Where are they playing, at home? Great. They'll definitely blow it.'' The Bears can still sneak in via the wild card but that scenario is going to require some substantial help and when you're counting on the Oakland Raiders to fly across the country and face Tampa Bay, who has a head coach in Jon Gruden who despises the Silver & Black, well, those are long odds. But here is what the Bears need to get that second wild-card spot: 1. Bears beat Green Bay Monday and then win at Houston Sunday. 2. Oakland defeats or ties the Buccaneers at Tampa. 3. Philadelphia defeats or ties Dallas at Lincoln Financial Field.

Don't worry the Giants will come to plat next week against the Vikings they don't want to go into the playoff flat with two weeks resting the starters instead of one
-
The Bengals responded to the smashmouth conditions by feeding the ball to running back Cedric Benson 38 times for a career-high 171 yards. With 118 of those yards coming in the first half, it marked the first time since Dec. 11, 2005 against the Browns (when Rudi Johnson had 124 in Cincinnati) that the Bengals had a 100-yard rusher in the first half.
-
With the loss to the Redskins Philly is already out, because the best they could finish is at 9-6-1and would have the Bucs cowboys and the Viking in front off them with better conference records
-
If we win out and get in the playoffs who would we play? We could have a rematch with either the Falcons or the Panthers, or we could be playing the Cowboys or the Bucs,or maybe the Vikings again
-
We will have a better picture Sunday night before wwe play hopefully the Vikings,Eagles, and the Bucs all lose
-
Well....LOL ...be glad that you do indeed have a job to go too to pay for your TalkBears online. LOL

yEAH ME TOO, BUT JUST WISHFUL THINKING.

Bear weather: The kickoff temperature the past two games at Soldier Field has been 19 degrees against the Jaguars and 28 degrees versus the Saints. But that probably will seem balmy Monday, when the high temperature in Chicago is expected to reach only seven degrees. The Bears have won nine straight home games when the kickoff temperature has been 32 degrees or lower. Those wins have come over the Jaguars and Saints this season, the Packers and Saints in 2007, the Vikings, Seahawks (divisional playoffs) and Saints (NFC championship) in 2006 and the Packers and Falcons in 2005. The Bears are 9-1 under coach Lovie Smith in such contests, only losing to the Texans in 2004.

For who ...his pop warner team? You and I both know that play won't work on the goalline 75% of the time
-
Go Falcons!!!!!!! Also Pat Williams is out and Peterson has a sore ankle! Come on Dirty Birds!
-
This new guy #19 should be on the field soon if the Bears are smart. We need the dep speed on both sides at WR not just Hester This would open up the middle of the field for Olsen and Clark not to say that we can throw deep to either him or Hester. http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80a40f15

Cowboys are 9-6 now and still have to play the Eagles. Hopefuully yhe lose again and Philly gets beat by the skins. and we are ahead of both teams Boys & Philly for the wild card
-
We need him to block not catch the ball. If he can open holes inside and outside run plays then Forte will be that much better and our running game can pound the ball.
-
Hell we have Forte, Davis(TE) Olsen,Clark why do we need to throw the ball to the fullbak anyway????? Put Olsen in that spot and let him run an out to th flat and up matched against a LB. We win this matchup 75% of the time.
