  1. Yes he is and we can use him Kruetz is gettimg old!
  2. Note to Turner...if anyone goes to the MNF game against the Packers could you please yell at Turner for me about using our TE Davis and Olsen in the Red Zone. It seams that he can't hear me when I yell at him through the computer screen.
  3. In the red zone, someone needs to whisper in Bob Babich’s ear to remind Bear defenders to pick up the tight end. Someone should whisper in Turner's ear to use our 6'5 and 6'7 TE in the red zone and not the fullback.

    Free Agents

One question for you..who and what postions in the upcoming FA market should we target? IMHO It should be QB,FS/SS, OG,OT,WR I just looked at some of the names at QB and found it had names like Cassel from the Patriots, Garcia from the Bucs, Collins from the Titians, Garrard from the Jaguars, and of course Qrton & Grossman. At WR Colston/Moore from the Saints, TO from Dallas, TJ H from the Bengals And Oline Dahl from the Falcons and Thomas from the Eagles,at DB Jones at SS from the Browns. With some of these playes we could make a real good push next year. Has anyone heard the status about Bently from the Browns at C/OG?

    10 Wins

Like I said at the start of the season we should have a least an 11-5 record. We are trying to get to 10-6 right now we are 8-6. We lost games to the Packers, Titans and Vikings. That's three games which we really did lose. But the other three, Bucs(OT by 3), Panthers (by 3) and Falcons (by 2) we gave away by dumb play calling and stupid errors by the players. So like I said with those three games if we had won we would maybe 11-2 right now with the NFC North already won. We have the talent by IMHO it's the coaches lack of the killer instinct to make us a great team. I will reflect back on a few things this season..fourth and one.......and you know what's coming the Bears are going to run! Oh and with the fullback huh? This was done twice in close game and we lost the battle and the game. More of the reflections......we are in the red zone on the two first and goal and do we use our 6'7 TE or the 6'5 TE on the bootleg pass or jump ball pass? I will say NO not even once the whole year! You do the math 6'7 TE vs 5'10 CB and who should win a jump ball? Turner needs to go we need and OC with an imagination Our line has played well but I will say this Kruetz, Tait and Garza are getting old. We need a guard and a bigger center. We need a #1 WR(that can catch) other than Booker & Lloyd. The defense is OK with the right play calling by we could use a faster FS and a lock down corner. Tillman and Vasher are good but the technique (bail & run) they play sucks
  7. Just think of the match up problems other teams would have had if we had both Hester & Berrian on the field at the same time speed kills.
  8. Right now anything is better than I can't catch a cold Davis or I'm too old now Booker. Go for it Bears!!
  9. IMHO I would do it in a heartbeat. So what that he talks alot but what he does on the feild is all that matters. Now TO is another story he drops alot of balls but then again he is aways open for some reason. We need a number one WR period. One faster than Booker/Lloyd. I see a make over coming. If we could get Johnson/Lloyd on one side with Hester on the other and with Davis/Bennett/Ridaeu/New guy #19 fighting it out for the other WR spots we might have something. #19 runs a 4.3 and will be a deep threat if we can get him up to speed with our offense. Rideau is a big target, but I would get Hass to replace Davis and use him like the Patriots use Welker.
  10. Quick look at Bears-Packers Dan Pompei's look: The last time the Packers played the Bears, it marked the low point of the Bears' season. The Bears struggled against the run and the pass, and the Packers had success in all phases of their game in a 37-3 victory. Since then, the Packers have lost three straight and basically played themselves out of playoff contention. They are a beaten-up team, having lost right tackle Mark Tauscher, middle linebacker Nick Barnett, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, safety Atari Bigby and others to injury. The Bears still could have problems with the Packers' explosive offense, but they should be able to capitalize on the Packers' defensive problems. They have struggled to stop the run (they rank 27th in rushing defense) and to put pressure on the passer (they rank 28th in sacks). Key stat: In his career against the Bears, Packers halfback Ryan Grant is averaging 6.3 yards per carry. Key matchup: Bears QB Kyle Orton versus Packers safety Charles Woodson. The Packers moved Woodson from corner to safety since the teams last met. Woodson is an outstanding corner but an inexperienced safety. Early pick: Bears 26, Packers 23.
  11. With the win over the Saints it all boils down to two. The last two games we win then we are in if we get two losses by the Vikings. We play the Packers at home and the Texans on the road. The Vikings play the Cardinals on the road, and the Falcons & Giants at home. Also we can get in as a wild card if we win our last two games and get the Cowboys and Falcons to lose two games and the Eagles and Redskins to lose one of their remain games. The Cowboys play The Giants, the Ravens & the Eagles. The Falcons play Tampa Bay, the Vikings & the Rams The Redskins play the Bengals, the Eagles and the 49ers. The Eagles play the Browns the skins & Dallas. Winning the next two games would put us at 10-6 and if all the above happen then the Cowboys,Falcons, Eagles and the Redskins would be left at 9-7 or worse. BRING ON THE KOOL-AID!!!!!! :
  12. Yes that was a very bad call on Olsen in the end zone
  13. So he can do that iif you know by watching the big screen tat there is no one that can catch you! LOL
  14. True as it may be that we need WR'S but can he make an impact? I like the 4.3 speed at 6'3 and 200lbs, put him and Lloyd on the outside with Olsen at TE and Hester in the slot and Davis/Bennett in the 4 WR set we might have something. Speed kills but he needs to be able to catch the ball. Devin Aromashodu Position: WR Ht., Wt.: 6-2.5, 201 40 Time: 4.38 BIO: Two-year starter who totaled 26/494/4 as a senior after junior numbers of 24/513/4. POSITIVES: Explosive receiver with an unpolished game. Quickly releases off the line, sharp running routes and gets separation from opponents. Comes back to the ball using his frame to protect the pass and adjusts to the errant throw. Possesses a burst of speed, playing faster than his 40 time and beating opponents in a foot race. NEGATIVES: Constantly lets the pass get inside him and body catches. Lacks a sense of timing and anticipation. Rarely catches the ball cleanly and drops too many passes. ANALYSIS: A solid athlete who can stretch the field, Aromashodu projects as a third receiver for a vertical offense. Needs to fine-tune his game and work harder to reach the level of expectation NFL scouts have for him.
  15. IMHO off of your list if we got FB Brannan Southerland, Georgia, OG Duke Robinson, Oklahoma, FS Rashad Johnson, Alabama, WR Ramses Barden, Cal Poly,OT Rylan Reed, Texas Tech it would be nice because these are the positions that I said we need help at all along. We need a blocking FB McKie can't move anyone, Robinson would fill in for Garza who really seems to be losing it at blockig. We need speed at the SS and FS positions Brown has lost a step and Payne is a better SS We also need bigger WR....like Rideau at 6'4 move Hester to the slot axe Davis & Booker let Barden, Lloyd, New guy we signed on PS, Bennett, Rideau, and if we sign a stud in FA battle it out for the WR spots.
  16. Because the Bears will not give up a 1st and a fourth to get him and then pat his 52 mil
  17. Right, we don't need a one game all-pro we need someone that is not scared to block somebody. And give some effort in doing it
  18. Oh and not to mention....that every players whats to do his best against his former team!
  19. IMHO I think it's more to do with they had the talent but were just not used properly. Gage is a big tall WR...and we ask him to go deep at the time not his gig, Wade is a slot WR nothing special and we ask him to do too much. Bradley was a good outside WR and we put Booker in front of him....so it's our fault that these guys are making it big else where.

    New FB

All he needs to do is BLOCK somebody and we will be fine
  21. Looks like we need to use the wildcat or as the Bears call it the Cajun for Forte or the Cane for Hester
  22. IMHO I disagree with you about not needing this game. We are 3-1 in the divison and need this game to stay at the top. a loss would mean we are 3-2 and not in first place. and would have to win at Green Bay, but we need to win that game as well.
  23. But, let's take a look at how Sunday night's game will affect the NFC North standings. Now, if Chicago wins, the Vikings are in BIG trouble, as not only would Chicago have a one-game lead over the Purple, but they also will have swept the season series from the Vikings as well, meaning any tie between the two teams would go to Chicago. That would be a huge advantage for Da Bears, and would put a significant dent into any hopes that the Vikings would have of winning the NFC North. And, since this division sure as heck isn't getting any wild card teams, that would mean the Vikings would be sitting at home this January. However, assuming a Green Bay loss to Carolina. . .and I think that's a pretty safe assumption to make at the moment. . .a Bears' win on Sunday night would leave us with the following: Overall W-L Division W-L Conference W-L Remaining Games Chicago 7-5 4-1 6-4 Jac, NO, GB, @ Hou Minnesota 6-6 2-3 4-5 @ Det, @ Ari, Atl, NYG Green Bay 5-7 3-1 4-6 Hou, @ Jac, @ Chi, Det If the Bears can pull off a victory this Sunday night against Minnesota, it would put them at 7-5 (with a 4-1 division record) and give them some serious momentum going into a three-game home stretch and one road game to end the season. It's Vikings week, people. . .it's for first place in the division, and it's for the chance to take one step closer to getting the Bears' the NFC North title. A victory on Sunday night needs to happen for this team.
  24. Yes you could but he is not "leading" his team to win but just helping out.
  25. Also not to mention that both Rayan and Flacco are leading their teams to better records than they had last year.
