We can hope Rodgers pulls off a couple wins and the Saints win another. That may pit them against each other.

I like the thought process. The only thing I would not do is trade Stevenson. His ceiling is high, especially with a better leader as coach.

BPA at need. I don't care if Jesus in cleats slips from the top five to the second round, we have to fix the trenches.

Heard today that Poles was blindsided by the hiring of Warren. I guess he accepted the job being told he had full autonomy in personnel matters. I don't think the NFL establishment would hold it against him if he resigns. They all know the owners that meddle and those that don't.

I don't think any of those teams are looking QB. Indy has Richardson, ATL has Penix. Both are too young to give up on. Steelers possibly, but Russ is getting it done.

It actually can. Take defense for example. If we draft a dominant EDGE to pair with Sweat, the pass rush finally gets home. Or one of our current DE's become above average, while we draft a dominant 3T and move Dexter to the 1T. You could have improvements at the positions with one addition. Same with offense. Draft a dominant OT, imagine if Kiran ascends to starting right tackle, Wright goes to RG, Jenkins stays healthy, Jones completes with Jenkins and we somehow sign it draft a great center. So, one DL and two OL can make for really good changes. All stars would need to align. We are closer than we were three years ago, but not happening fast enough to save jobs. Good coaching can save it all. (See Harbaugh)

Our underperformers are the owners. The reason they built castles on high ground is because shit flows down stream. If the GM can't hire and fire or choose the best coach, because of money, the rest is doomed. (Unless you luck into a great young coach) This doesn't exonerate Poles, but it is like treating cancer three feet away from the tumor.

IMO, the roster is not terrible, it's just constructed funny. Poles simply neglected the premium trench positions. With roster construction remaining as it is, we truly only need OL and DL. That being said, we could always upgrade everywhere, but it's not as critical. That talent on this team is simply rudderless. Poor coaching and lack of identity has a bunch of bodies flying around. We desperately need a true alpha coach.

It's seems like Washington had some things he wanted to try out today with some funky handoff zones. It's obvious the team didn't grasp the concept. He didn't do himself any favors. So far, 38pts, 438 yards, with five plays over 30 yards.

That's complete BS. They love their money more than winning. That's why we get first timers or has beens as coaches. They don't want to pay! Georgie boy gets involved over the money.

💯. As I get older, it gets harder and harder to root for them.

Running point is just a dog sniffing for game birds. The guy with the gun does the shooting and eating.

Warren has already stated that he will personally oversee the hiring of the next HC. Poles to assist.

Let's play chicken and egg. The unverified reports say Poles wanted to fire Flus at the end of last season, but the McCaskey's said no. Now, the same reports are saying Warren made the call on Harbaugh. Since it's really Poles who should be hiring and firing coaches, do we blame the new scapegoat or the old villains for the latest scrambled egg? What we do know is that it took a meeting with George and Kevin before Ryan could do his job. What we also know is that Jim Harbaugh wanted to come here. The "they didn't want me" quote is seared into my brain as a reminder of the ineptitude of the McCaskey family. I'm thoroughly convinced they are in it for the money at the expense of winning. I'm not buying any more Bear wear and am considering other actions. At the end of today we have a GM that's powerless, a president with no plan for a stadium, yet is going to take his valuable time to find the next coach.(He was basketball guy). Lastly, we a 103 year old matriarch pulling the shorthairs of her moron son. I'm beginning to despise this franchise. What would y'all think about constructing a letter to the family from our site? We could use our membership numbers as something that may carry some weight. Or at the least, they may actually read it.

Totally get what you are saying. There are instances where Braxton holds up well to the bull rush. From tackle to guard there is a huge disparity in the percentage of times he would be susceptible. If he gets beat by a bull rush 40% of the time, he's out of the NFL, so let's say he's at 30%. At guard, it would be closer to 5%. Who knows, he could be tragically flawed with his set. Odds just don't tell it that way.

I played tackle, guard and center. Each is different, but guard was the easiest. He may or may not be able to do it, but he has size and mobility in his favor. The odds like his prospects...

Something else. I watched some film of Thomas Brown the player. He ran around and through opponents with a fearless nature. I hope he coaches with that determination and toughness...

Yes please. I could see him bringing in Robert Saleh to run the defense.
