You like how he stuck that RB didn't you? ?

I agree with all of this except the GM reporting to George. George stated that he evaluates a GM based on winning. While that's a good start, a football man would have snapped the towel on all of the trading up a long time ago. Pace has damaged this team next year as well, placing depth issues on the new GM. Also, George took zero ownership on the losing, Pace and Nagy.

Not at all. The GM and Flores fractured their relationship over Tua. The GM is also good friends with the owner and that was the power.

I like him as a candidate.

9:34 AM. Thank you Jimmy Mac and Sweetness!

I live just outside of Indy and Colts fans are reeling. Frank Reich talked Ballard into Wentz big time, so if anyone gets ripped it's Reich. Carson was flat out dreadful with poor mechanics and inaccurate throws to wide open receivers. GMFB called him the Christopher Montilsanti of the NFL this morning. I looked at his contract and they can dump him for 15 mil dead.

Well, that went south quickly...

Both pics, same play. I think that was on Dalton. But, in agreeing with you, he should have not had a choice. Run the damn ball!

Fangio is available now.

That look on Monty's face said it all on the most recent failed 4th down attempt.

Yeah, blitz all you want. We won't make you pay... Something else. Daniels even pointed out the protection and Montgomery inexplicably dives at the feet of DL that were being blocked.

Nagy's offense in a nutshell. 4th and 5 with the Vikings bringing 6. Circled in red are the available targets. Circled in white, and the most damning, is the entire offense. No hot read and no release target. Totally inept.

He owns the Bengals. That's a pretty good reason...?

They were really talking Harbaugh up on ESPN 1000 yesterday. Waddle and Silvey stated that he is a better pro coach than college. They also talked about his failures in college as mainly talent issues, in that Michigan can't recruit with Ohio State, Notre Dame and the SEC. I remember there was mention of the recruiting disparity in their bowl game with Georgia. It was emerging like Georgia had something like 83 top recruits while Michigan had 13.(don't quote me on that) Anyway, I still hate Harbaugh, but as a coach we could do worse.

With him being in his fifth year next season, he may end up in an Allen Robinson situation the following year. Couple that with his mental health issues he could be an expensive headache. The Falcons know him best and have invested in his development, so why trade him? That moves me from a refrigerator item to a red flag.

Fields Unlikely to Start now - On COVID List
Mongo3451 replied to DABEARSDABOMB's topic in Bearstalk
I've been watching Goldman this year and while he is not playing at a pro bowl level, he is playing at solid contributor level. I've also noticed that he gets a lot more attention when Hicks is out. With that being said, he is holding his own. I'll take him at the price he is paid. -
Didn't he quit on his team?

Rodgers is the single greatest arm talent that I have ever witnessed. Haters can hate all they want, but the dude is different from anyone, ever.
-
He's a piece of crap human being. I know this from his time in Indy. Hell no...
-
He never played for Meyer. Plus, Ryan Day ran his own system with Justin.

What I see from Justin is mixed. He shows promise with the deep ball and improvisational plays. He is very weak on processing the speed of the game, as he often is late to deliver.(this was Mitch's major flaw as well) He is also weak on moving around in the pocket.(Mitch also) He also hasn't shown the ability to throw players open.(Mitch again) I've never read a critique on his release, but it could be a lot quicker. His delivery is long and smooth which helps with the deep ball accuracy, but also gives defenders an edge on everything under. Above are my thoughts from a few weeks ago and they have not changed. Fields has the potential, just like Mitch. Coaching, scheme, personnel and being at the right place at the right time mean everything.

I'm going to help with the Mustipher apology. He plays for Nagy and that will hinder any offensive players development. In sports, gambling, work and women, you have the ability to get into a groove and find more frequent success. Nagy is what you call a cooler. His version of cooler is the fact that he changes things up way too much. Whether it's Monty averaging 6 yards a carry, so we decide to pass the rest of the game. Or the run game is going well and we refuse to run play action. Let alone not using your TE's in a consistent manner. Nagy has been accused of making things more complicated than need be, that includes line sets. I'm very much looking forward to a coach that allows the team to grown into themselves vs them trying to fit into a system that doesn't suit the experience and talent of the personnel.

Of the many things I thought when saw game, draft position was the last thing on my mind. Going by the draft value chart alone, us not having a first round pick eliminates most of the numerical value of the chart, so who cares if we draft 5th or 7th in the second round? What I payed attention to was what you made mention of, as in "who wants to be here?". On top of that, who is our future? On OL, Ifedi and Daniels were both auditioning for contracts and failed miserably. Eddie Jackson doesn't want to play for anyone. I was really pleased with the defensive effort, other than Jackson refusing to hit anyone. On another OL note, I'm thinking Borom may be a better prospect at LT than Jenkins. Jenkins has the makings of an average LT and an all pro RT, while Borom has the makings of being average at the former and a little above average at the latter. I'll be interested in what the new regime thinks.
