Getsy a Senior Bowl HC
Yes. Guys like Quinn Meinierz, who nobody heard of, gets drafted in the third round and is a starter. Then there's guys that went in the first round that may have went later. This is big for a couple of gems...

Getsy a Senior Bowl HC
36 players were drafted in the first three rounds out of the Senior Bowl. (6 in the first round)

Playoff Scenarios
We should also ask, how many of those five would've been starters if drafted elsewhere?

Playoff Scenarios
Trevor balled out when they needed it. Stud performance! I want that from Justin.

The Jacksonville comparison
Ooh yeah, you can put on the HOF for the hair flip. Trevor put that team on "let's go mode" the last 6 weeks.

The Jacksonville comparison
Good post. Something to remember is that they were in the playoffs a couple of years ago, so they already had some talent. Lastly, Trevor is a stud! What a comeback he had...

Step one who do we extend ( current players on the roster)
Monty and Kmet both looked good.

Step one who do we extend ( current players on the roster)
I'd offer modest contracts to Mooney, Montgomery and Kmet. Also Jaylon Johnson, but he may cost a good chunk.

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
I have a huge feeling that we are going fleece the Colts. Irsay is on full tilt. He's on record saying, during the pre season, losing is NOT an option this year. He brought on Saturday to evaluate the culture and Ballard, as an act of desperation. Saturday has already given Irsay the report and has promised to change many things if he gets the job. More than likely, Ballard will be gone and the new GM tasked with getting THE QB drafted, no matter what. I see getting two firsts, a second and whatever player/s we want.

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
Hang on now. There is a big three this year, just like Mitch's year. The funny thing is that it came out backwards that year, so who knows.

Kevin Warren - new team President
It is considered a great stadium. I'm thinking, the Bears need one about 80-90k given the huge market they dominate. Go big or go home!

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
Sure hope not

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
If the Bears stay in the top five, the only pick for me is Will Anderson. Bama has him play a lot of gap/edge discipline. Even with that, Anderson looks like he's a problem to block. He's tremendously powerful in running through contact. When he's placed in pro situations in the future he could be unstoppable.

Kevin Warren - new team President
This is a great hire. He's made the Big Ten an absolute fortune. He was also an integral part of getting the Vikings stadium built.

He's busy with 20 year old laundry specialists...?

Top FA Targets
The thing is, you gotta upgrade RT, C and possibly a G. Whitehair is aging and injury prone and I simply do not trust Jenkins to man up and be a pro, even though he's really good. So, we have three positions that need pushed/upgrade before Jones. That many will be a complete mess to practice and evaluate before they can begin to gain any continuity. Just don't like it.

Top FA Targets
Love Orlando Brown, but Jones was pretty damn good as a rookie and will incrementally better this year. All about 2 and 3

I Don't Want to Start a Riot...
...but CJ Stroud is a better passer than Justin Fields...

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
That's forever called a Pace. The act of fleecing a Pace is forever called a Trubisky.

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
I'd beware of Pierce and Pittman. Neither have great hands or explosive speed. Pierce has long speed if he could get off the jam. I live outside Indy, so my Colt buddies have given me an earful.

THE CHICAGO BEARS HAVE THE #1 PICK
His production is not commensurate to his contract anymore. It's said that he is aging early. If you look at him, the frame is not huge, but the dude is packed in there.

Roquan signs largest LB contract ever - somewhere Saint Omni is smiling
I think Poles is a pay stars at key positions kind of guy.

What Results Do You Expect Next Year?
My expectations are clear. Fix the OL, once and for all. Upgrade, at least 3 DL positions. Draft a starting caliber WR. That's free agency and draft. As for performance, we should end the season in the top fifteen. If Fields figures out passing, we will be a team that scares people. Kinda like what Detroit did this year. Detroit and us have close to the youngest teams in the league and I expect some really good competition for the division title in 2024. My early projection is 8-9 or 9-8. No playoffs. 2024 will be huge. Hang on...

What Results Do You Expect Next Year?
We knew what this season was going to be. Within that thought there were varied growth and win expectations from the Bearstalk family and media experts. This will be the single biggest off-season the Bears or maybe any other team has ever had. Do we know of any team has had the number one pick, an emerging QB and 120 mil to spend? Do you expect playoffs, winning record or vast improvement? What gives Poles and Eberflus the thumbs up?
