No, no, no, hell no! Yes, Fields is dripping with talent. But he needs to learn the ropes. Bringing him along slowly is absolutely the way to go. Too many QB's are ruined by early expectations.
Miller is clearly on notice. Like I said in another post. He was publicly on the trading block and nobody wanted him. Now he has to get his head together or his NFL days are done. Somehow, I think he'll have a decent season.
Remember, Pace and Nagy have the smartest guy in the room syndrome. Only a fool would think he could draft 5 guys a year and fill a legit NFL roster. Love Jenkins, hate the trade. We could have had Dillon Radunz at 52 and still have our 3rd and pick WR Amari Rodgers from Clemson.
Nobody wanted Anthony Miller. If I'm Nagy, I sit Miller down and essentially tell him that he is the most gifted receiver on the team, but nobody wants you. Get your shit together or this will be over in training camp and remember, nobody wanted you.
I don't think it's a rumor. They are reporting that the brass flew to Rodgers a few times to patch things up, to no avail. They even offered him a contract extension. Also, this is a dude that doesn't even converse with his family.
Here is what lucked into. I had a scenario where there were many players that other teams wanted more than I did, so I got 4 trade downs in the first round. I love the result. Also, some of the picks I love the most got the worst grade...
The modern assessment for QB's is what can they do that's not the norm and can they act instinctively. I was wrong about Trubisky being that guy when he was drafted.
Everyone is praising the Chiefs for this trade and Baltimore fans are pissed. Both Brown and Stanley are good. One of them is going to make left tackle money and the other right tackle money. Brown wanted Stanley's job and pay scale and he's on his way.
The Ravens have a starting left tackle under contract, so I think you are missing something. Like I said, they'll end up cutting guys like Hill as they replace him with fresher legs. They'll be just fine.
He made the Pro Bowl by playing most of the games at left tackle, due to injuries of Ronnie Stanley. That's what started the whole trade ordeal, because he proved it on the field and wants to get paid accordingly. He'll be fine unless injured.
