GREAT Coaching
I'm thrilled with the victory. We were all looking to see change and we got. One thing I noticed that gives me a little pause for concern was that Justin reverted back to his extended arm motion that he spent the off-season trying to fix. It was only for a couple of series that he was highly pressured. It seems that he reigned it in when he was more comfortable, which overall is a good sign. He made the adjustment...

I read somewhere where Patrick was listed as center 1 on the depth chart and Mustipher was 2.

Logic be damned, I cant wait for Sunday
Most of us have posted here for a long time, so we kinda know each other. This is the administration and approach I know I have wanted since Jim Finks. And it looks like it's being done the same way. Up front! I love what I see. It's weird because I feel like I'm validating my football life through this admin, yet have nothing to do with it.

Many good analysts weren't great football players. Some of favorites, other people don't like. I though Madden, Dierdorf, Warner, Booger and Collinsworth are/were great. Give me guy who tells it like it is. I even like Orlovsky in that he'll stand buy what he says. Guys that make an NFL roster, even if it's for one year, have tremendous knowledge of the game. Sometimes their research is not so good, like what Lemonej said.

Agreed. Players these days come with a lot of media hype and pressure. This all leads to false pride. Instead of feeling fortunate to have a job, he felt insulted. In the NFL, everyone has talent. A good mental approach and hard work become the keys to success.

I think Poles laid the trade thing to rest. He had a meeting with Jenkins and told him that he was proud of him and he ain't going anywhere.

Ted Phillips retiring at end of the year
And when it all comes down, the Chicago Bears own the city over the whole lot of local franchises. I'm sure the city could support another team, but why would they want Soldier Field? They would be inheriting the same problems the Bears and their fans have had to endure.

That would be direct karma from them fleecing us on the Mitch trade up.

They have superior OL, WR, LB and DL. Another thing they have going for them is that they have experience in their schemes.

I don't like my James Conner auto pick. I can't imagine him getting half of the TD's he got last year.

No team looks terrible, so there's a chance.- Ted Phillips retiring at end of the year
Heard that Chicago is broke and they didn't start trying to assist until they got pressure.- TalkBears Keeper FFB League 2022
Did you miss the draft?- Scouting 49ers
I personally don't think we have the horses to compete. With their front seven being strong and us having a very inexperienced OL, it just doesn't look good. I think Fields is better than Lance as well as our RB group, but everything else goes to the Niners. Our rookie left tackle has yet to see an exotic blitz and with Borom being the weakest link, we can't help both OT's at the same time. Any given Sunday is the rule, but it will have to be nearly flawless for us to win.- Ted Phillips retiring at end of the year
Something else Teddy related, is that they are going to have a Town Hall this Thursday to announce what they plan on doing at the new property in Arlington Heights.- Ted Phillips retiring at end of the year
Heard on the radio that he doesn't have as date set in stone because he wants to hit a certain milestone with the Arlington Heights project before he goes. Side note: I doubt seriously that they would promote Poles one year into his tenure.- TalkBears Keeper FFB League 2022
I almost missed the entire draft thinking it as at 8PM Chicago time. Once I logged in, I had a continuing battle with auto-pick. Ended up with one QB and TE, then three DST...? - Ted Phillips retiring at end of the year
