Mock Drafts
Good points. I think Raimann is an all pro guard prospect. He doesn't have near the experience of Rashawn Slater to be the technician he needs to be at LT. As for Smith, he has every tool in the box to be an above average LT by year two. (He IS the one I want) I don't think he'll be there when we draft though. He is super young for his position and probably had the most upside of any player in the draft.

Eberflus Expects Drafting 3 Starters
They say he has short arms and only weighs 290. Experts say that huge DT's will exploit him 20% of the time, but also say that he'll be very good 80% of the time. He has great feet and leverage, so he should be great in zone.

Eberflus Expects Drafting 3 Starters
Since Eberflus stated that this draft is very deep, I traded out of the second round and concentrated a bounty picks in the sweet spot. I ended up with eight picks from 64 to 132. All needs met with BPA.

Totally agree. The difference between 6'0 fast and 6'4 faster is staggering no matter what analytics you put to it. It's more rare for a Tyreek Hill or Steve Smith to be there playing like a big man. On a side note, Steve Smith loves Skyy Moore, says he's a clone of himself.

Compensation Projection 2023
That is exactly why I love what they are doing. Year after year, the brass is convinced we are a player or two away. So they reach for a pick, trade up for a pick, overpay for a free agent, overpay their own or trade picks for help. It's dumb unless you are truly close. Harvard business model loves the hope model of running a team because it creates a buzz, thus selling out games and selling of merch. The perfect family of leaches is the McCaskey family, as this is their sole income. Now, they much bite the bullet for a year. Back to Harvard: it's a great time to build a stadium and attract partners when your team rises from the ashes like a Phoenix. Once the foundation is built, the comp pics will come when we big-time sellers instead of buyers.

I like Monty and Herbert, but also like pounding the rock. If we find a gem, Monty becomes tradable and we don't have a big contract for him. RB is a disposable position lately. When our offense is relevant, how old will Monty be?

Getting a true LT and a 1WR is imperative for Fields' development. If you gotta draft multiples to get there, take multiples.

Trade Quinn?
They can absolutely get more than Mack. Quinn may not be quite as good as Mack, but he's more productive in his niche. The big plus with Quinn is that his contract is palatable compared to Macks'. The Chargers pay 8.7M to Mack this year, but it hits 27M, 27M the following two years. Put Quinn with Chris Jones and you have something really good.

Trade Quinn?
I'd do it for a 2nd and 4th or two 3rds. No way in hell for #96. Getting him off the books is huge too.

1st annual "I'd Sh!t Myself" draft...?

Mock Drafts
Agreed. I would even add RB late.

1st annual "I'd Sh!t Myself" draft...?
Watching Watson, he is the freak of this draft. At 6'4, he cuts like a guy 5'10. Being so tall, he's the perfect compliment to Mooney and Pringle. My vote is cast...?

1st annual "I'd Sh!t Myself" draft...?
I remember him. In watching him, it was easy to see that he is very strong, but badly needed to work on his lateral agility. As a practice squad player, he should have worked his ass on that. Hopefully it paid off.

Somebody get me a doctor!
I like Pickens. He reminds me of a slightly less talented CD Lamb. Watch some tape on Christian Watson. He was on GMFB this week and made an impression. Taller, faster and healthy...

1st annual "I'd Sh!t Myself" draft...?
OMG ❤❤❤! Put Smith at LG and Petit-Frer at LT. Smith was the number one rated run blocker last year. Complete mauler!

1st annual "I'd Sh!t Myself" draft...?
It can be great or terrible. We can vote for both. PFN sounds good to me.

1st annual "I'd Sh!t Myself" draft...?
I hope you guys will have fun with this. We need to establish a draft site. Once that is determined, all bets are off. At the end of the week, we can do a vote for the best and most putrid draft. Suggestions/help is needed...

He's a true left tackle. He has the all the prototypical size and tools to be great. He's young, therefore raw. Nasty run blocker with attitude. He and Jenkins would be bookend tackles. Watch him on YouTube...

Was listening to Kiper this morning. He said this draft is loaded at WR. He predicts 25 receivers to be drafted in the first three rounds. All with starting 1, 2 or 3 grades. McShay has us drafting LT Tyler Smith from Tulsa. Jurko broke him down on film and said he's a nasty run blocker that needs to refine some of his pass pro technique and is pure upside. With that being said, how's LT, WR, WR look?

All Bama Draft
Maybe they could come slap some Alabama back into Eddie Jackson...?

Experience and physical traits matter and not just a little. He's proven to be a good player, in college, on the right side. We didn't trade up for to be a project. Remember, we were the only scouting dept in the entire NFL to have him rated as an LT. This why I'm hoping for him to be a stud. The length is primarily for speed rushers, like Quinn, who uses his quickness, length and hip dip to get around the back. Sometimes those extra inches are the difference in whether your opponent gets his hands on you or not. Unless you are Tua, the LT matters for the QB. Blindside hits are a turnover or injury waiting to happen.

That's interesting. I'm 50/50 on any news from Olin. I've stated many times that Jenkins is a RT/G. I still hope Jenkins is a complete stud, but folks are talkin...
