  1. Man, you are rowing a sinking ship. Anytime your program is not good and you get to fire someone and keep your job, it's a scapegoat. The players you mentioned are underperforming due to Nagy and his terrible system. They don't have time to get open, due to the routes taking too long or being easy to defend. There is no time to throw the ball because of the OL. They literally had 8 people pass blocking on the second play of the game and two people came in untouched. They should have fired Nagy the day he said it takes five years to master his system. (And as far Goodwin and Byrd are concerned; they aren't starter quality receivers anymore. They may be fast, but it doesn't show in football speed. And they are smallish)
  2. Another nail in the coffin. I was listening to Waddle and Silvey yesterday and they mentioned an important fact. The offense under John Fox during Mitch's rookie year was far more productive than Nagy Fields. Don't give me shit over the sample size, lol...
  3. You know what's crazy, Mustipher is 315 and supposedly gained strength, but I see what you see. The number one rated center coming out weighs 285, is super strong and athletic. I watched film on him and he's a mauler. It's that kid from Iowa. When you draft a kid like that, did you get a Kruetz or Grasu. He's like an OL version of Aaron Donald.
  4. That's a tough one. I like the guards where they are, but they are both better than Mustipher at center. If one moves in, does it make the line better or worse? At this point, I'm staying put with Sam. Then, of course, drafting the best center of the class next year.
  5. Or he's using his future HOF resume to show how terrible the coaching staff is. How can you be a backup and not have any reps???
  6. It's widely known that I want to clean house, sooner than later, so I've come up with my dream team. Ted Phillips - CEO. Phillips had been instrumental in making great financial deals for the team. With the new property and stadium in the future, it is key that he remain in the forefront. With this new role, he'll no longer make football related decisions. Bill Polian - President of football operations. Polian was NFL exec of the year 6 times with three different teams. All three teams were built up from the rubble and appeared multiple Superbowl. (Seven I think) Polian is 78 so he may choose to stay retired. If we could get him for 2 years to establish the front office, a reliable replacement would be easier to groom or find. Ed Dodds - GM. Dodds is the current right hand of Chris Ballard of the Colts. He's widely considered a rising star and had already begun the GM interview process this past off season. Brian Daboll - HC. It's his time, as he has succeeded at several positions. Lately with the Bills, he has shown to be an excellent play caller and player developer. Josh Allen's rise to stardom can be directly attributed to Daboll. I love his experience and hot hand as of late. With Justin Fields being very similar physically to Josh Allen, the fit seems natural. I didn't choose any coordinators, but with the experience of the new brain trust, I feel they would build a great staff.
  7. Lord help us if someone that low level is the scapegoat. At least last year it was Pagano and the year before Hiestand.
  8. You keep bringing up Furrey. He reports to Nagy and will go when he does, so he's kinda moot. This whole train wreck starts with Pace. If Nagy was the key villain, Pace would have dispatched him last year. If not, he's even more incompetent than I thought.
  9. The difference between our team losing players and others teams losing players is coaching and depth. IE: Pace and Nagy. Richard Sherman was literally asked to be a coach yesterday and was successful.
  10. I may have been a little harsh. He was trying to read the defense, but it was overtly methodical and slow. Fields is so casual and smooth, it looks cavalier. I hope and pray that his mental process will someday meet the speed of the NFL. The tools are there.
  11. I don't know what you saw, but Fields couldn't read a comic book today. They are going to get him hurt. Even Romo was begging for Dalton to come in to try to save Fields' confidence. What a shit show. He's not ready. I give Nagy credit for trying to protect him. I'm starting to wonder if the decision to make Fields starter for the season came from above...
  12. Yet another instance of the NFL slurping on the Packers. See play clock...
  13. He's had 4 years to install his offense with multiple quarterbacks and were still at the bottom. It's Nagy's scheme and play calling, along side of too many picks traded away.
  14. Lol, just read my post. Looks illiterate. Fixing
  15. I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He has a race agenda and has been a proven liar before.

Truth. Why Pace needs to go...

As much as I hate Pace, this one was a proper and smart extension.

100% He definitely passes the press conference test requirement for Teddy and George though. Too bad Arians wasn't in the mood for that dumb shit. Until that mentality is out, we'll be lucky to build a dominant organization.
  19. Remember when Brady held up the 4 fingers last year and he got clowned on in memes? He'll do it again, but for TD's, because he's petty that way. 28-13 Bucs
  20. Shit, I'd take that all day everyday!
  21. I don't think that is that big of a deal. Daboll knows how to call plays and design a solid offense. IMO - that develops a QB more than anything. Confidence and boldness blooms when you believe in something. We've already seen the other side of the spectrum with failure, doubt and sharp criticism. In order for our offense to turn the corner, major investments must occur with dollars and draft capitol. The defense will have to suffer while this occurs. Once we start scoring more, the defense can be rebuilt. That's my two year plan and I approve this message...????
  22. Daboll is proven. The only other proven coach we've had is John Fox. No more chances for unproven guys.
  23. At the end of the day 14 points doesn't win very often and our defense is older and slower, so everything has to be perfect.
