  1. They know. They saw it last year. They've all worked for other organizations and talk to other professionals. Nagy's own players have dissed him this week and in the past. Nagy is a laughingstock.
  2. It's just Nagy. His staff has to eat it and follow suit.
  3. Pace has to answer to someone. I also liked Ted on the money role, but he should be CFO, not team president.
  4. And I would be happy to bring the tailgating stuff and have a blast meeting my Bearstalk brothers!
  5. First off, welcome back AZ! I've missed your perspective and wisdom. That being said, I could not disagree more regarding Pace. From a talent perspective alone, he has had more losses than wins. After that, subtract the two and a half drafts he's traded away for his convictions on players. Finally, we've never been in worse cap position to cut, trade or sign players. Our OL and DB situation is enough to get anyone fired. Edit: The fact that Nagy is still calling plays also shows a huge lack of balls for the boss man.
  6. Not one negative I can think of. I didn't care for the Soldier Field experience.
  7. Here's the rub and where Nagy has already hanged himself. He said, "trust us, we have a plan for Justin and he will play when he's ready." So here we are. Was he ready? Was he ready for that? Is there any positive way to even call that a learning experience? No way in hell. If that was the gameplan Foles should have been QB1.
  8. We all know how dumb Ted Phillips is when it comes to running a football team, so we know the odds are against the firing of Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace during the season. Here's the prediction: Ryan Pace starts the job saving process, because he knows he can't get a gig anywhere else, by talking to Teddy today. After talking to Teddy, he heads to the family and grows a set of nuts to save his job. While talking to momma and George, they make the decision to fire Nagy Monday morning after a home loss to the putrid Lions. I hate to think of Pace being with the team next year, as I am fully on record against his negligence. But, if you look at it honestly, wouldn't you do this to preserve your job if you were Pace? The only scenario I can think of, where l this doesn't play, is if they were already tied Pace and Nagy together in the off season. Thoughts?
  9. I would actually have Mike Pettine be interim, so Lazor and Flip can focus. Pettine has experience in the position.
  10. Can we add our thoughts on this? I'll compile our collective thoughts and go on radio with Carmen and Jurko, then Waddle and Silvey. After that, a formal letter to Virginia. I'm done with these clowns. Pace with no OL and youth. Nagy is a just a cartoon coyote.
  11. He's the only idiot EVER to make a statement like this. Who has four years in today's NFL? If you can't succeed in an offense after one year, the offense is FATALLY flawed...
  12. Chris Carter talked about that too and said that is a real thing. He also talked about the fine line of, "ok, you kept your promise, now let's go!" The line will be clear today, as we are supposed to beat the Bengals. If not, there will a fly in the soup...
  13. I agree with the invest in offense philosophy. If a 2nd could be had for Arob, that would be a steal for us.
  14. I was watching Chris Carter on GMFB Thursday and he ripped Dalton in a fun sorta way. Basically, said he cost him 25k in a Pro Bowl game he was coaching because he was reluctant to drive his throws downfield. He then went on to state that it occurs when QB's get older and are not willing to take the hits anymore. It seems fitting seeing we didn't have a completed pass over 10 yards, with 13 yards being the longest attempt. If he doesn't push the ball this week, I'm afraid Nagy will put Fields in before he is ready. Meaning, the plan they put in place will have already failed.
  15. I'm sorry, but as bad as Leno was, he was average. And is still starting in the NFL. Did I want an upgrade, absolutely. Did I want him gone, no. He would have been a great bridge for the new OT. That's not hindsight, it's common sense. 8 million dollar starting OT vs 10 million dollar aging TE? It's not even close. Pace, in all his arrogance, again trades up for a guy that's a pure right tackle, then says he's a starting left tackle. Based on what? I'll tell you. It's based on the fact that we did not have one damn left tackle on the entire roster. He has to go. He must for the future of our franchise. I am also on record wanting to keep Trubisky until we got our guy. If that happens, we have Kyle Fuller too. Hindsight, looking at Pace really pisses me off. Sorry for the rant. I'm just done with Pace moreso than Nagy.
