  1. I spent some time researching these players to make sure they fit. I was also able to realistically trade down twice to get two 3rd round picks. What do y'all think?
  2. The more I think about it, the more I'm certain we must draft an OT early. Leno needs a threat, otherwise we might get more lazy work from him. I'm also still in camp with trading back, so Reagor, then OT would be ideal.
  3. I'm not going to play the whole game, but I love Jalen Raegor and Lynn Bowden respectively. Ben Bredeson keeps me thinking of Quentin Nelson. Lastly, Jordan Love is going high in the draft. Had a lot of coaches and coordinators in college. But tremendous upside. We won't have draft collateral to get him anyway.
  4. I know that was tongue and cheek, but Mitch ain't going anywhere.
  5. I like it. Mitchs' mental toughness has been questioned by a few in the know. He either grows a set or rides the pine.
  6. We are now players in the Trent Williams sweepstakes. I don't we're interested or not, but having extra money to work a deal out helps big time. Cap cuts will happen directly after the draft. We'll definitely be bidders for some of the quality vets that get cut.
  7. I'm rooting for him, but I think he's just going to be mid level at best.
  8. I like it a lot. If we swap Jalen Raegor for Kmet at 50, i'm doing a happy dance...
  9. I know it's not the theme, but damn we need a trade down partner.
  10. I took two TCU defensive players, Jeff Gladney and Ross Blacklock. Both can be day one starters. Gladney is a super twitchy and instinctive corner. Blacklock would play DE and is a very athletic high motor guy who could wreak havoc in our system. I'll get reamed for not taking OL, but you can't pass on guys on guys that slip to you that will start and make you better.
  11. Very much agreed on this. However, I still remember moments late in games when he gets that adrenaline going and somehow looks like he can make plays. Sometimes, when it's in your head, it's because you are thinking too much. I personally believe that's Mitch. It's a major flaw that can be corrected with confidence. Sometimes the QB needs to be the guy to say F it, I'm letting it rip because I trust myself.
  12. Agreed. Nothing amps and locks your focus like competition. If not, he's simply not a baller.
  13. After the draft there will be cap cuts. I remember picking up Fred Miller and someone else that way. It's also a deep draft for OG, so we could very well have a steal drop to us.
  14. Peters is Orlando Pace 2.0
  15. I remember a few years ago that we signed a few veteran minimum players and they did not count against the cap. Does that still exist?
  16. How can you tell the comp pick value per player? Is there a formula?
  17. This year is the make or break trifecta. Pace, Nagy and Mitch are tied together. I don't see a scenario, other than playoffs that keep them safe.
  18. There's also going to be a restructure to make it even better for our cap.

    What QB?

Andy Dalton tops my wish list.
  20. Montgomery reminds me of Chris Martin.
  21. Hopefully, Kwit balls out and we get a good comp pick.
  22. If they bring Bridgewater in to be the starter, why not see what someone would give for Mitch. He's going to want another chance to start.
