  1. We stayed in Indian Wells last year for a business conference. It was really nice there.
  2. I'm thinking we'll actually see less of Cohen this season. Keep him fresh for explosive plays...
  3. I think the main issue he had with Trubisky was that he was missing the primary read.
  4. From my viewpoint, that was a great analysis. If Mitch takes us on a roller coaster ride and improves while doing so, he will be fine.
  5. I don't get all the Fox hate on this. He did us a favor with a spot on critique of our kicking game, in that it's a huge question mark. It will only galvanize the team more coming from a coach that was popular with the locker room. Do I agree we had the worst off-season? Hell no. Fox truly doesn't either if he's sane.
  6. It's also time to start thinking about stockpiling draft choices. Keep grooming the next man up.
  7. It's very fair to say Trubisky is inconsistent. It is also unfair to not recognize that he is ascending. I don't give a shit what people say, Trubisky is both. But, he meets the eye test. He'll be alright.
  8. Someone would have bitched about whether or not our 2 first rounders were busts or not, lol...
  9. Yea, there was no way that was going to work.
  10. Got it! Next will be the navy with Trubisky.
  11. I liked the short and intermediate throws Trubisky made last year. Where I thought he lacked was in his ability to hit the deep route and the speed of his progressions. If he can hit a few deep balls early in the season, it's gonna be cool.
  12. Twas mearly a flesh wound!
  13. I remember that Burton had a little tweak in practice. Later it was announced that he was out and it was a surprise to the staff. (Sort of staying that his body locked up) Also some anxiety was talked about and that it happened in Philly as well.
  14. The difference between the two can be explained through science. One is Einstein, the other is Jekyll. Pagano has been described as a madman by his former players. (in a respectful and complementary way)

I think Angelo was a good GM until Lovie gained influence. We'll just call that the "Men in Shorts" era.
  16. I think this is a BS story. Hernias are easy to diagnose, treat and explain. The fact that a spin is coming out 5 months later is confusing.
  17. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this defense has a chance to be historically good. And it all starts with... drum roll... Mitchell Trubisky. If Mitch makes the next progression he starts hitting those wide open receivers on the deep routes. That opens up everything from the screens, crossing routes and especially running game. This will give Nagy the ability to step on throats the way he wants, whether it be to score quickly to allow or D to pin its ears back or sustained drives to give them rest. With Roquan and Mack getting a full training camp, Haha playing with a chip, Eddie being healthy and Floyd coming into his own, this D wow! The other players just need to play at their usual level. Just pray for Mitch and the health of this D.
  18. Pagano is loved in the Indy area. He is a truly good guy..
  19. Gotta say, I do find it comical in a way. I do totally agree with on Pace. Kickers don't define GM's.
  20. If Ha Ha is a player we like, I don't see why he's gone in everyone's eyes. If he's a keeper, it can be done.
  21. That was on the recap. He is absolutely going to name the guy he picked. Knowing now that they were going RB, Pace made a great move to get in front of them.
  22. I didn't see any evidence, other than the post commentary, to suggest Singletary was there guy. For all we know, they wanted Montgomery and didn't trade because they thought we may go RB with it.
