  1. I would for a two year deal. Our OL would probably kill Brady though.
  2. I'm all in on OL. That has not nor will not change. The debate between speed WR and TE is philosophical. My belief is that you must at least create some doubt with the DB's. If you can do that, then they are not as quick to hammer the underneath stuff. The D coordinator is also less likely to blitz. There are equally good arguments for TE. Maybe we can do both, then we'll all be happy.
  3. I'm still there for OL. Just not TE.
  4. I like both of them and may be the lone proponent of a blazing fast wr. IMO, it's more important than TE. Burton will be back along with Horsted and Holtz. We can even use Patterson in a pinch. Kansas City has 3 or 4 guys faster than our fastest and it shows.
  5. Lol, they don't advertise their algorithm. My guess is that it's based on how they have players ranked plus team needs.
  6. Here's a fun draft. I decided to see how many trades I could make using our 2 second rounders. Ended up with 7 third rounders, lol.
  7. I'm really thinking that trading down is in our interest this draft. Lots of good value in 3rd-6th rounds.
  8. That's an interesting thought. I haven't pictured him in the OLB role. Not sure if he has the size, but he is a tazmanian devil of a player.

    Senior Bowl

    It all starts up front...
  10. They don't want Ebron back in Indy. They also have 100mil on cap space. He's an absolute no for me.
  11. I like your thought process on this. Take that OT first or second, with edge next out value is there. I've really been researching wide receivers and believe we can draft a couple of blazers in the 4-6 rounds. Mix that in with a couple of DB'S and a RB and we're done. I've been playing the draft game as well. Finding a trade down partner early so we can get extra picks in the 3rd and 4th round brings a ton of value in our needs category.
  12. That's crazy! I never wrote anything like that. Not sure how that got in my drafts. Funny though...
  13. Lol, I thought the same earlier in the day, but didn't have time to come up with something witty.
  14. Here's the one I want. I'm still a firm believer that this is the most pressing need on offense, outside of OL. A new TE will not open the field.
  15. Of course. Honestly, when he hits his plant step the first read should already be decided.
  16. That's my hope too. Drop back and when you get to your plant step, drive the ball, run or throw it away. Repeat...

    HOF

I love to see bears in the hall. I just never pictured either in it.
  18. We'll be lucky to have 2.
  19. Oh, he knows that. His comment was between speed WR and TE. Everybody knows it's OL one way or another.
  20. This is not a defense of Mitch, but I would love to see what he could do if he had either one their offensive lines and receivers. Trust me, it's not even close. Give KC credit for drafting Mahomes. If everyone else knew what they knew, he would have gone sooner. I personally hate the comparisons because nobody knew. Trubisky was the consensus #1 QB for that draft. Knowing who was picked where and who was right about who doesn't mean anything. I was drinking and playing the hindsight game, because the grass is always greener on the other side. I always feel guilty after doing that because I know it's dumb. Funny thing is; there are guys just like us that still have their respective teams in the playoffs thinking, "what if we had that guy?".
  21. If the field doesn't get stretched, nothing works easily underneath.
  22. The one thing I hope Pace noticed is that every team that has won so far has a receiver or two that can take the top off a defense. We have zero. It's not likely to happen via free agency, as there aren't many out there. KC has 3 receivers 4.4 or less and Kelce at 4.6. To me that is the priority right behind the OL. Don't be surprised if we take one early. The defense will be solid without too much investment. The offense has to come up this year.
