  1. Essentially, it was Fox that let Pace know he was killing chance of building the locker room and to get him out of here.
  2. Since we do have those rights to the FA kickers, Pace has put himself in a great position to land Gould. I'm seeing a 7th round pick for next year and SF's choice of the current kickers we have. I truly don't care if Gould takes less or gets paid market value. (What did Gostkowksi get?) He is the lone missing need on the roster. His presence alone will chance confidence level of offense, opponents defensive game planning (due to them knowing we will kick a fifty yarder if we chose. Making them D up for short yardage or yard to gain situations) This gives Nagy the flexibility to less predictable in those situations. All in all, signing Gould will take a lot of tightness out of various situations.
  3. Cap cuts will be coming after teams draft. How much money do we have at this point?
  4. My guess is that he has at least 5-8 backs he would jump on in various rounds.
  5. To expound upon that, Nagy may have given Cohen and Mizzell more carries than he wanted to, simply because he didn't feel good about his options with Howard. That could create an even larger desire for a fresh new back.
  6. They'll be looking for a100+ carry guy. It's dangerous to have Cohen carry more load, as it can affect his burst. Nobody wants that.
  7. I'm patient. Moving picks from year to year is costly. Once we get a solid reputation of developing players, our free agents will be even more desired. It will be more important to have all of the picks.
  8. Completely agree with this assessment.
  9. Players with expiring contracts after 2019: 1. Chase Daniel 2. Bradley Sowell 3. Cody Whitehair - *starter* 4. Jonathan Bullard 5. Roy Robertson-Harris 6. Aaron Lynch 7. Danny Trevathan - *starter* 8. Nick Kwiatkoski 9. HaHa Clinton-Dix - *starter* 10. Sherrick McManis 11. Deon Bush Good teams draft for the replacement of these guys this year. Unfortunately, we are not in that position. Of course, some will sign long term deals, while others are year to year.

    Draft RB

To a lesser extent. He's a tough sell for me.
  11. To expound upon that; I'm sure every person on the team has a little extra pep in their step when it comes to training this off-season.
  12. If they all get in with the weight room with Mack, we could have something special.
  13. Not great, but I'm good with it.
  14. I would bet money that's the case.
  15. It's pretty cool we get to start off the 100th season with the oldest and most bitter rivalry. On a side note: my father has never been to Soldier Field and let me know it was on his bucket list. If anyone has info about available tickets, please let me know. Also, are there handicap entrances that he can utilize? He can walk, but doesn't have the easiest time with it.
  16. It may be a mental disconnect that the eye test can't explain. Conspiracy theories are real, lol.
  17. That is spooky! And yes, there has to be something to it.
  18. There's those annual cap cuts we get to look forward to.
  19. The Denver media and fans will be praising this signing due to the Fangio connection; right up until Callahan hits IR. In the meantime, our guy will be having the best year of his career, due to our front 7.
  20. The fact that they signed him for 3.5 means he has an axe to grind. Love it!
  21. Best wishes to him, otherwise he's dead to me! ?
  22. I like how he always finishes downhill. Not super explosive, but definitely a serviceable upgrade.
