The Denver media and fans will be praising this signing due to the Fangio connection; right up until Callahan hits IR. In the meantime, our guy will be having the best year of his career, due to our front 7.
Sometimes it is good if a few players leave. It gives greater sense of purpose to the up and comers and makes room for the next draft class along with free agents. We must also remember that players will want to come here while we are in the window.
I don't care how good this guy may or may not be, you CANNOT have a kicker named BLEWITT. (After last season even!) Pace must have a great sense of humor or the biggest stones in the business, lol...
It's hard to tell with a guy like him. He has the initial quickness to be a really good slot guy. You are definitely right on with BB. My guess he goes anywhere from 4 on.
I'm taking Parris Campbell or Bryce Love with my 3rd round pick. We need homerun speed and both fit the bill. The versatility they both have would be a great compliment to Cohen and a nightmare for defenders.
Remember, nobody really missed on Kittle. He had that bad knee injury coming into the draft and had to use part of his rookie season to rehab.
He definitely looks better than Shaheen. We could have drafted Kamara with that pick. Wouldn't that be nuts?
Although we could use another pass rusher, I'm a no. We need to home grow our young players now that we have the talent to contend. Teams like the Pats make a living off of compensatory picks.
Pace has the luxury of only 4 picks. I know it's not a luxury, but narrowing of options does give him a clearer path to find his gems. I like his odds based on track record.
I would argue that the offense getting better is the number one priority. As the season progressed, we dipped in scoring and TOP. Notice our D faltered in the end to let the Eagles go ahead. To keep our D fresh, that to me is the key.
