I watched NFL Network today and they were at Bears camp. Darnell Mooney and Allen Robinson impressed the heck outta me. Barring injury, we gotta ink Robinson to a deal. Mooney has been breaking ankles in his routes.

Love Parcells, but this is out of context. We don't need a veteran to replace Jenkins. We need that veteran to help ensure Jenkins has the time and ability to succeed. The last thing our team or Jenkins needs is to be placed in a position to fail when not ready. A veteran only stabilizes a fragile situation and gives added confidence to a team that already has uncertainties.

Jenkins needs reps. If he doesn't get them, there unsigned guys out there that will absolutely be better.(also better than anyone we have) Eventually, is next year. If Fields is to be developed quicker, he will need to have starts this year. I don't want that to occur if the shit show is happening up front.

Not even close. Youth and strength is not equal to the experience Leno has. Jenkins needs training camp to meet, then exceed Leno.

Sorry, but for now, it is an enormous problem. Jenkins has zero experience playing left tackle in the NFL and needs these valuable reps. Pedigree means nothing now. The offense will have to be dummied down to provide assistance by lining a TE or chipping a back. And trust me that Justin Fields development will be slowed, as Nagy will not put him in a regular season game until the OL has settled. That fact that there is no serviceable backup is the elephant in the room.

C'mon man! Do you think he lost his youth and skill? He's 32. You are talking about the same guy that lead the Eagles to a Superbowl won over the evil empire. And who was the OC? You got it, Frank Reich. The Colts are loaded and ready.

I'm going to temper my expectations of Fields, this season. History shows the boom / average / bust factors. I like everything about his situation though. I also believe Nagy and Defilipo are the guys to develop him and that his supporting cast is strong enough.

I think a snap count will greatly benefit Hicks and Mack...

Remember, we were broke going into the off season, resulting in us having to cut Fuller. They may have said, if you want four years now it's gotta be 64 mil. Otherwise we sign you for 17 on the franchise and hope to get something done later. Also, they can franchise him again. Robinson was asking for top 5 money out of a tenth place resume.

It may actually be a good thing. He can rehab while the team works the kinks out. Getting a dynamic player with fresh legs back in week 7 could be a huge boost at the right time. Right time equaling Justin Fields time!
