  1. I am surprised. I would never tag a guy injured as much as he has been.
  2. Fuller is not worth it. Better to front load a multi year deal. 3 for 33 mill with 12 guaranteed...
  3. Man, the only way this is fantasy is with a trade down. OMG, that would be sick! Imagine how Pace could f@#k with the entire draft....
  4. Fleener sucks. Definitely don't want him...
  5. I truly don't think we'll draft WR. Pace can't get burned on that twice. Also look at the Saints and Chiefs, as they don't spend high choices on WR.
  6. What about Amendola? Moncreif is a good one to add as well.
  7. I've always been an OL kind of guy. This year is a little different for me, as I believe RT is the only position that needs an upgrade. Our OL ids gong to greatly benefit from a passing threat. With the addition of a draft pick, a FA and some returning vets we should get some defenders out of the box. (No OL can survive a season of stacked box) Secondly, an improved defense always gives an offense more confidence to open up the playbook. So my request of this draft is one RT, one WR, a pass rusher or two, MLB, and a DB. Bunch of FA kickers this year.
  8. It's not easy switching sides.
  9. I don't like Whitehair at tackle and neither do scouts. He may have played tackle in college, but they all projected him to be interior in the NFL.
  10. I'm officially adding Malcolm Butler to my list. He's going to have a chip on his shoulder next season.
  11. Great news! Heard TO made it too.
  12. Picture this. We draft Barkley and simultaneously trade Howard to the Steelers for their 1st because they are weary of Bell. That's a scenario I could live with. Barkley has the hands of a Forte, power of Peterson, speed and elusiveness of Elliot and never been injured. IE: Sweetness on steroids. This is most complete back I have seen since 34. Anyway, It's a pipedream as he doesn't make it past 4.
  13. Numerous mock drafts have of standing pat and drafting a receiver at 8. I just don't see the value. Thoughts?
  14. Yikes! That changes things. Thanks, didn't have that info...
  15. I think Washington is still in play. KC traded up while they had Smith, why can't Wash? Also, they are getting Smith for 10mil less than they would Cousins. Cousins being 5 years younger should be the franchise guy they are looking for, but they see it differently. They will probably draft a QB and use Smith as a rental.
  16. Here's a draft I did. I traded down once for more picks. It's based on signing a good FA WR, Meredith, Inman and Wright. My thought was to spend heavy on offense and draft heavy on D. Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 13 (WASH): Tremaine Edmunds, OLB, Virginia Tech (B-) Round 2 Pick 7: Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State (B+) Round 2 Pick 12 (WASH): D.J. Chark, WR, LSU (B+) Round 3 Pick 14 (WASH): R.J. McIntosh, DE/DT, Miami (FL) (A+) Round 4 Pick 5: Darius Phillips, CB, Western Michigan (A) Round 4 Pick 15: Jeff Holland, OLB, Auburn (A) Round 5 Pick 8: Kendrick Norton, DT, Miami (FL) (A) Round 6 Pick 7: Tyrone Crowder, OG, Clemson (A+) Round 7 Pick 6: Eddy Pineiro, K, Florida (A+)
  17. He remInds me a lot of Brian Urlacher! Long, instinctive, sure tackler, closing speed...
  18. I've never seen a second of film on him. That's the main thing a slow guy needs. One thing about good film, it doesn't lie.
  19. I read everything you wrote and completely comprehended before posting. The Rice analogy you used was precisely my point. My statement was meant to mean, film trumps running in shorts. If you have a disagreement with that, I'd love to debate it.
  20. Jerry Rice ran a 4.71. Bill Walsh drafted him on game film.
  21. What about Aldon Smith? He's only 27 and...
  22. I don't think Gordon is an option. Nice thought though.
