  1. Thank you! You best me to it. Let's add that Pace drafted very well last year.
  2. ESPN reported 6 mil per
  3. TE's are freaks this year. I'm in for getting 2.
  4. So, this being a great year forTE, paired with Glennon being efficient with said weapon, I see us drafting two. What I don't see is what elite talent we will draft at 3. Again, looking like trade down is the best option.
  5. So we have Lovie to thank if he turns out to be a gem...
  6. I'm in for drafting a QB high, but starting a vet for half a season while the youngster learns.
  7. Your score is: 14061 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 9 (CINN): Jamal Adams, SS, LSU (A) Round 1 Pick 23 (NYG): Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama (B+) Round 2 Pick 4: Budda Baker, FS, Washington (B-) Round 2 Pick 9 (CINN): DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida State (B+) Round 2 Pick 23 (NYG): David Njoku, TE, Miami (Fla.) (A+) Round 3 Pick 6 (NYJ): Elijah Qualls, DT, Washington (A) Round 3 Pick 27 (K.C.): Jake Butt, TE, Michigan (C+) Round 3 Pick 40 (K.C.): Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State (A) Round 3 Pick 43 (NYJ): J.J. 8. Tommie Harris was graded much the same way. Although, he had a few good years Brigitte it caught up with him and that was at 15. No way at 3.
  9. Agreed. They both looked good. I'm also starting to think this would be a good year to draft 2 TE's. Also, everyone is talking about Mahommes. One said it was the best arm since Favre. The Cutler comparisons scare the crap outta me though.
  10. Just pray he doesn't play with the Packers for a year.
  11. Totally agree. I'm also in with Jason on trade down if we don't like any of the QB's.
  12. Can't say we didn't know this was coming...
  13. Don't be a pussy and build your team!
  14. Antonio Brown just signed a 4yr/64 mil extension. At 17 mil a year, that totally blows franchising Alshon, as we would be the laughing stock of the league to give a penny more. Brown is also much more productive and reliable. The 13 mil/yr previously mentioned, sounds about right. Knowing what the staff knows can only drive it down.
  15. I tend to agree with Jason on Long, but a little analysis could change me. If I knew the improvement at LT would improve greater than the loss of greatness at RG, I would consider it. Looking at available talent, Whitehair could fill the RG role without anyone saying we need help at that position. But, how much of a drop would he be? Now we have an open C position. Grasu was drafted in the 3rd to be that guy. Is he healthy and strong enough to be the guy we need him to be? Does he fit what Fox the needs within the blocking philosophy, since he wasn't drafted for the current system? After that, what is his drop off from Whitehair? Lastly, and where Jason and I may disagree, is continuity. Since this unit has been together for a couple of years, will it change their growth curve in continuity if positions are switched? If they can retain some of their cohesion, there's little doubt there is more physical talent on the field. It could possibly give Jason a superior talent pool while giving the continuity I like, but there are sooo many questions that he and I have no answers for.(player desire, real health, ability and adaptability)
  16. Replace that with Trubisky at 3 and I like it. Picks 2, 3 and 4 are of very good value in a draft that is very deep in those positions and are glaring needs. Also love the solid vets added in the defensive secondary. Existing DB's better improve or adios amigos!
  17. I'm in stay put / stay quiet mode if I'm Pace during this time. Until they know if they like one of the QB's, nothing should be done with picks. What I would work on diligently is trying to get something for Cutler and bringing Alshon's status to an agreed upon resolution. If QB at 3 is off the table. I wouldn't mind stockpiling 2nd and 3rd round picks, even at the expense of our 1st. This draft is deep as hell with some of the things we need, so trading out could be a bonanza.
  18. Well, I guess Alaska won't need that Viagra after all.
  19. Does anyone hate that SMC is in this game?
