Pagano's Defense
3-0 baby! And the defense doesn't have a damn thing to do with it. Our offense has done the work as our defense totally underwhelmed me. Through this start, the offense is leading their opponents in yards, points, 3rd down conversion % and time of possession. The defender was supposed to be a strength, but is has not shown yet. Whether it is the long drive or the big play, they keep getting gutted. A few things I have noticed: The pressure is there, but nobody is getting there! The result is this; QB has time to make reads and throws. DB's can't cover forever. In the run game I've noticed 3 things. Aside from Hicks, the d line is getting turned at the point of impact. Their shoulders must remain square to the play. Danny Trevathon is done! I watched him on consecutive plays yesterday get blocked five yards from the hole. And the hole was to his side! He got blocked so badly Roquan couldn't get around him in time. It was sickening. At this point, I would start anyone over him. Tashaun Gipson doesn't want to tackle anyone either. He could have prevented that long running TD yesterday by hitting the back as he was cutting to the pylon. He instead, put the brakes on and chased him to the end zone. (Huge pussy) All said, Chuck Pagano needs to go. Where are the blitzes? I miss Roquan going up the middle on that bullet blitz. What about the corner blitz? I pray Fangio gets fired and we can hire him back. He taught assignment discipline and toughness like Pagano has never done. This defense has been neutered and Pagano is to blame. Now, is that the angriest 3-0 rant ever, lol!? It's only because I'm seeing that this team has a chance to make a run, if the defense returns to 2018.

On Trubisky
On investment, Pace has wasted two drafts worth of players reaching for greatness. That's a solid OL and backups at every key skill set. Playing Monday morning QB, I agree with some, but not all. Future drafts and cap are crucial. 3-0 baby!

Bears @ Falcons - Week 3 - Official Game Thread - 9/27, Bears +3.5, 12:00 PM CT, FOX
Bench Trevathon now. He's getting manhandled by the TE. Roquan can't get around the wall Trevathon is causing.

Are you trying to psych the Falcon's out, lol? I think you are going to see a gassed up defense and a Falcon's team that is one turnover away from throwing in the towel. Bears win.

Giants at Bears - Week 2 - Official Game Thread - 9/20, Bears -5.5, 12:00 PM CT, CBS
As far the defense is concerned; that is the product of Pace trading away the equivalent of two drafts away. The youth in the pipeline is lacking. That's why making Trubisky pan out is so important.

Biggs-Allen Robinson has requested a trade
Good point. I'm in for signing Robinson. They can also do a deal that makes him tradable in the off season of the young guys ball out. That being said, I wouldn't trade him anyway. Too good of a dude. That makes them even more valuable.

Two Notes from Week 1
Nichols and RRH didn't play well. I think they were trying to make an impression when they really needed to control their gap. You never want to see your DL turn their shoulders to the sidelines. When that occurs, the OL owns you. They got caught trying to lean and get skinny in the hole too often. Watch them clean that part up tomorrow. Hicks played his gaps well.

Damon Harrison considering signing with the Bears??
I'm not interested in Harrison. He's not been in any camp and can almost guarantee you he's not close to in shape. Nichols definitely had a bad game. He was turning his shoulders way too much. His job is to keep wide at the line of scrimmage. They'll rip his ass in film session and he'll stay more cognizant of it this week.

I lost my bet to Stinger

Bears at Lions - Week 1 - Official Game Thread - 9/13, Bears +3, 12:00 PM CT, FOX
There were a few plays in the first half that were very pivotal on adversely affecting us into the third quarter. (The personal foul on Fuller and the no call for Robinson on the end zone were at terrible as I've seen) Was completely disappointed in the defense. If we can't get to the quarterback we are done. Overall, this should be a great confidence booster for Trubisky and the offense. Good to see Graham get a TD.

Bears at Lions - Week 1 - Official Game Thread - 9/13, Bears +3, 12:00 PM CT, FOX
It's crazy, I bet this game 2 months ago and the Bears were favored by 4. If we lose this game, season over. Lions suck.

The Starting QB is.......
My guess is Trubisky. The team has the most to gain if he succeeds. Also, when looking at being a backup, I think Foles can thrive in that role, while Trubisky would still be in devastation mode from losing his job. So, it's Trubisky on a very short leash.

Training camp over
I'm looking at 4-2 to start the season. Even at 4-2, I'm looking to see what the QB had to do with it after the first two games. Trubisky starts the season with a very short leash. If we don't make playoffs, it's over for all of them. Not sure what will really happen.

Leonard Fournette Released...
They are tanking for Trevor. He was productive last year. Foles and Arob know the truth if he is a bad dude.
