I read the entire article. Fangio was referring to the time that was missed in camp from illness, then a shoulder issue and then a hamstring issue. It seemed to have a veil of motivation to it, but nothing damning. Got it from espn.
Marshall simply has a 2 year shelf lIfe wherever he goes. Year one = great, Year two great with a side of crazy. Year three = he gotta go! Nutty people have patterns, Brandon's one of them.
They have already signed up for 15 mil guaranteed. My thought would be to double that based on the thought of franchising next year as well. As long as it averages out to around 12 a year, I'm good.
I've always wondered why. My only thought is that defenses are so fast that the QB's can't execute. There are a thousand guys that have the arm skills, but only about 10-15 guys in the world can execute.
Alshon will more than likely have to come down more than the Bears go up. He is playing a dangerous game with his future with the team. He does have leverage this year regardless of the franchise tag. The 14 mil goes a long way in offsetting any annual shortage he receives in a long term deal. But, if he has another injury plagued season it will erode the cushion.
