  1. I'd pass. My preference would be to sign or draft starter potential. He had his chance.
  2. Can he withdraw from the draft? If I'm him, that's what I do. If he has nerve damage and is out the full year, he becomes a fifth rounder at best.
  3. Sometimes they heal completely but lose the mental edge due to fear and apprehension.
  4. I would start with locking up our homegrown talent. What is left after Long and Jeffery? After that, I go for guys that can start and fit our system. Draft BPA, BPA, BPA. That's where you get your impact players....
  5. Shhhhhh, don't tell Madlith! Cook has talent as well. With Bennett likely leaving....
  6. I'm iffy on Fleener. He drops a lot of passes in crucial situations. Same was said for Marty B and he played well for us.
  7. In! Great job Jason. That was fun to watch unfold....
  8. Check, check, check and check!
  9. Glad you brought that up. It made me review my post and I found that I did not include the draft. I meant to. Hopefully we can get 3 starters like last year.
  10. My question to the group is this: how many starters need to be added in free agency to upgrade our team to playoff status? My thoughts are 6. 4 on D, 2 on offense.
  11. GB move would suck. I couldn't imagine if they had Eddie Lacy working out with Forte in the off season.
  12. He's order and slower. Not what a franchise on the rebound needs to invest in. He will be missed, but this is not a mIstake on any level. Thanks for the memories Matt.
  13. Completely agree. Apples to apples though...
  14. I think Gore's contract hurts Forte, because he did not deliver what Indy thought they would get.
  15. Do you remember who we mock drafted last year?
  16. I think Ragland will be a starter, but 11 is too high for him
  17. I think Wade Phillips and more talent than previous years got them there.
  18. Yes! For a two hour program, I thought they did an outstanding job telling a four hour story. Loved every second of it.
  19. It would have to be laced with incentives. He can't be trusted to stay on the field.
  20. Are you sure? My impression is that he retired because he felt the Lions did not honor their promise to get more talent and he hated playing for Bobby Ross.
  21. Hate both should have been an option...
