  1. Trim, bald, Brazilian or landing strip?
  2. I'm not a Collins fan, so I hate it. Give me BPA all day long.
  3. Suggs was too slow for us to draft back in the day. Shelton is a good football player. If the staff likes the film, I hope the short arms and 40 don't scare them off.
  4. They might be able to get two seconds and a third.
  5. Somewhere, Mike Mamula is smiling. We must look at film and like. We passed on so many good film players due to size and speed concerns. No more men in shorts drafting for us.
  6. I mentioned teaching those three in a post before Trestman was fired, so of course I'm good with it. My only concern is who replaces Cutler. If we could hit on a serviceable QB it could electric sooner than later.
  7. There is something to be said for taking matters into your own hands. Some do that by standing pat with their pick, some pay the numbers game to see what sticks. Playing armchair GM, I'm first and foremost a BPA guy. But if I don't see that guy, I become a numbers guy.
  8. Marshall will not be cut. He IS tradeable. This is ridiculous. I guess they'll cut Forte next...
  9. No he doesn't. There is a reason he is available. We all should be are of previously popular names and other such shiny things...
  10. Agreed. I live outside of Indy so I've seen enough of him. He sucks...
  11. Agreed. I hope we can harvest according to his strengths...
  12. Why discuss cutting Cutler? He has trade value. Why not erase the cap hit and gain a pick?
  13. The article actually makes me optimistic. Fox is known to be a strong leader. One thing about good leaders is that they know one when they see one. It will be important for them to find those guys and channel the locker room through them. This can help Jay if he's never going to be the voice. Fox will be that strong from the top which will help as well.
  14. The only way I would consider having Briggs back is if we are in win now mode and he was the missing piece of the puzzle. He's never played inside in the NFL, so why would be want to try him for a year. They would simply lose a year of developing someone much more ascending.
  15. I hope your standards aren't that low everywhere else...:-)
  16. I want a hybrid D when it's all said and done. If we can line up one way and mutate to another, that would be exciting to watch and talk about.
  17. Give me Payton over Hull. I know you picked all 4, just sayin...
  18. Just so you don't think I'm stupid about the Colts game, please re read my post. Lol

    Gase is OC

It doesn't matter. Cutler is a point and shoot guy and is the antithesis of a system guy. That's why you'll never see sustained greatness with him. You can win with him, but not because of him in the long term, because he'll kill you when you least expect it.
  20. I don't think our ST coach had a chance. We had so many new people in new positions, it was almost impossible to field a good unit. Rookie punter, new long snapper, no Hester, new scheme, new gunners, new non OL blockers. We got better as the season progressed and will be better this year.
  21. Agreed. We all know it didn't make a difference in the Colts game, but what about the Ravens? The less air pressure, the lighter the ball too. The Ravens game could have swung on a play or two from this particular offence. That being said, the Ravens or Colts should potentially be playing in this game. Goodell has allowed this investigation to linger long enough to allow the Patriots to compete for the championship. What a black eye for the league. We are not talking about players smacking someone around anymore. We are taking about billion dollar corruption. All anyone in competition wants to hear or say, is that they won or lost "fair and square". Thanks for starting this post. I've been wanting to vent this all week...
  22. You can never have enough pass rushers. Since we currently are lacking, it's an easy pick...
