  1. If things would have changed because of that, it would further condemn their credibility.
  2. My take on the fuller pick is this: They saw the greatest value here for the following reasons. 1) Dude is solid in every aspect. 2) Tillman and Jennings are the wrong side of 30, with no suitable replacements.(Fuller will play over 50% of the snaps) 3) Servicable safeties are 5 to 1 easier to find than suitable corners.(simply not a premier position) 4) Our safeties will be better because the front 7 and corners will be greatly improved. They simply will be able to be safeties again, instead of linebackers.
  3. Gee thanks SCS. We may not hear from Terra until training camp starts. Nice smackdown...
  4. I really like him. As far as him running high, I noticed he is low when he needs to be.
  5. Time for RB. From an article I read, Emery may be looking for an oversized corner to develop into a FS. Of course, if I'm a big corner and my draft projection is not good as a corner, I'm entering the process promoting my ability to play safety. So, I'm not convinced that diamond is out there.
  6. I'm almost going for TE now. Between you eating a stapler, Terra imploding and Jason ODing on Midol, what's not to love?
  7. (not directed at any one in particular) I'm not sure why so many are lost on this pick. There are four positions on every team that you pay a premium for. Safety is not one of them. Our safety play will be better this year due to everything in front of them. This has been discussed in depth. We got the best CB in the draft. With both of our safeties on the wrong side of 30, this is a great pick!

    Kyle Fuller, CB

Time for Tillman to suck it up and move to safety. All Woodson's would agree.
  9. Good corners always trump good safeties. And we got the best the draft had to offer. I'm definitely good with it. Tillman needs to move to FS now. It's what good old vets do. See the Woodsons...
  10. Hard to disagree. But, it's Jerry's world and we just reside here...:-)
  11. Yea, Kiper has Lattimer going #28. Donald doesn't last that long. Don't be surprised if Dallas doesn't try to trade ahead of us to get him. Jerry Jones has a huge boner for him.
  12. Remember when we were impressed that he had the quickness to catch chickens...:-)
  13. I understand floor and ceiling. And I would live to have the kid on our team. Size has never been an issue with me. Except for Rex Grossman's tiny hamburger model hands.
  14. Man, I think he's related. It was amazing to see him say Donald was the number one player in the draft...
  15. With the criteria you stated, yes. I think he would be an excellent choice as a backup.
  16. He's projected to go late or UDFA.
  17. I'm a BPA guy. Never turn down someone you think has all pro talent.
  18. I would love the Bears to draft my nephew. Kofi Hughes out of IU. 6'2 215, ran 4.5 forty, had 23 reps and catches very well. He was a four year starter and a damn good kid. His fellow team mate Cody Lattimer is projected to be taken at 28 by Kiper. I'd do a back flip if we got him.
  19. I see 4 defenders and 3 offensive players drafted. I still see secondary and RB as a huge need as well.
  20. I will not mind anything, as long as they draft talent. I'm betting we will draft a CB early, despite having more pressing needs.
