I agree with your thought process and I like Fuller and Cutler. I simply thought your analogy was way off. Anytime you can get a ten year starter. That's worthy of a first round pick.

A serviceable, experienced ILB is not near the premium of a pass rusher or OT. He can be on the team before the draft easily.

I'll disagree on this. I'd get the best OT out there in free agency to give flexilbilty in the draft. I personally think pass rush is the number one deficiency on this team with OT being a close #2. If your pass rusher is not there and a great OT prospect is; load up!

That's not even close to what I saw. 1) he didn't grab Cutler as high. The defender was actually lower. 2) didn't lift Cutler as high. 3) The player tackling Sproles had other options, the guy tackling Cutler was losing him via momentum. It simply did not look intentional or malicious. Again, if he gets fined as the other player did, I will concede. Until then...

I can get on board with that. But, it's not about the entitled, "Jordan rules", poster boys. My point is about legal hit or not. Plain and simple the tackle was legal per the rules. I've looked at it over and over and see nothing malicious at all. We didn't get screwed, we just didn't get preferential treatment.
