  1. I think greeting cards might be your calling. Direct yet eloquent...
  2. It was an encouraging win. Still a lot of work to do on D and ST. Hopefully, some of the injuries are brief ones, as we need all the depth we can get.

Ready to retract your draft comments...:-)
  4. Speaking of points, is Gould incapable of a 57 yard field goal?
  5. Thank you. Wanted to throw that out there a couple of days ago.
  6. Sad part is, he is continuing the legacy generations before him started in his family. I believe sometimes punishment is a positive thing, but that's not even close. It takes far less than that to get a kids attention. Very ugly situation...
  7. I would only play them at 90% or better health. Long season and we don't need their injuries to linger. Too much value there.
  8. Disagree. 100% speculation and shit journalism. The only part I agree with is the Briggs analogy. Just shows we all have varied opinions...:-)
  9. Yea, me too. I was only talking about a guy to come in and watch film and maybe walk through and impart a sense of urgency to learn the system. Sometimes inspiration comes from within, sometimes a fresh face is useful.
  10. I'd ask Singletary first, but Ray would be great too. Just to call them out in the film room would be great. Tucker isn't getting it done.
  11. Jay could not carry Favre's jock strap. Horrible comparison.
  12. Jared Allen's money could've been better spent...
  13. In another post, I mentioned how I felt unsettled over the way last season ended and this began. I know why now. Our identity is offense while the defense retools. Problem is, the 2 people at the forefront of the offense are knuckleheads.(Trestman and Cutler) Both made bonehead decisions that compromised our ability to win. After that, we still had a chance to win in OT and our dynamic duo could not come through. This does not bode well for a the confidence of our defense. Blood is in the water boys and fins are present. This week is going to be huge. I don't expect to go in and win at SF, but we will need to be competitive to start building trust and confidence. As far as the D is concerned: Emery better let Conte know that if he doesn't start hitting people, an injury won't be what ends his career. I know I've had enough. And so on...
  14. The last two, real game, losses the team had were really demoralizing. I'm usually pretty upbeat, but this has got me in a gloomy place with this team. Trestman has a huge job in front of him. Does he keep following the program? Or does he shake it up to start a fire? Big big week ahead of us.
  15. Said the same thing as it happened. Mistakes were made throughout, but that one was critical.
  16. The tickets are available. Selling the pair for 140.00. We are staying at the Palmer House downtown...
  17. I will be in Chicago this weekend and have tickets. However, I may not be able to go. Would anyone like to buy my tickets if I can't go? They are nosebleed seats. Section 433, row 18, seats 1&2.
  18. What bearfan2000 said. Anything less, Tucker doesn't last the season...
  19. It would so nice for a starting our backup center to have that skill. Snapping for kicks is nothing, but snapping to the punter is an art. (Used to do it) The luxury we had with Mannelly was awesome. I just hate using a game day roster spot for a guy that's there just to snap a ball.
  20. His tiny hands fail him...
  21. I think we are good there. I see a team like the Colts being all over this if he's healthy.
